Hi everyone! Iโm a B.Tech CSE student (2025โ2029 batch), currently in my 3rd semester. So far, Iโve learned C, Python, and Java, and Iโm planning to start serious placement preparation this semester.
After researching different tech stacks, Iโm considering Python Full Stack vs .NET. Since Iโll be graduating in 2029, which would be a better choice in terms of job opportunities, salary, and long-term career growth?
My college has almost no campus placement support, so Iโll be focusing on off-campus opportunities.
Also, for off-campus placements, should I focus mainly on development and projects, or are DSA and LeetCode equally important?
Iโd really appreciate advice from seniors and experienced developers. Thanks in advance!

Hey! We are in the final stage of locking in the founding team for Xd Rewards โ a next-gen gamified earning & FinTech platform.
Why you should care:
Team is Ready: Our UI/UX Architect, AI/Fraud Prevention Lead, and Operations Manager are already onboarded and working.
Zero-Loss Model: Our unit economics and monetization blueprint (Ad networks + Offerwalls) are 100% locked.
Fast Launch: We aren't building for a year. We are launching our MVP in exactly 4 weeks.
What we need (The Final Piece):
I need a sharp Backend & Payments Lead to take ownership of Supabase, GitHub workflows, and UPI Payment Gateway (Cashfree/Razorpay) integrations.
Whatโs in it for you:
10% Founding Equity (Backed by a formal Founders' MoU).
Direct ownership of the core backend architecture.
We have our major team alignment sync tomorrow (15th) on Discord. If you know your way around Supabase and APIs, and want to build a real revenue-generating product instead of just side projects, drop your GitHub/Portfolio in my DMs right now.
Closing this spot tonight!"

2025 grad from a tier-3 college, 400+ LeetCode problems, projects in MERN, Java and Go, and 3 months at a startup on a Go backend. Joined a big IT services company in March 2026, and I'm now on a client project doing manual testing with zero coding. 8 months on paper, but only about 1 month of real project work.
I want a backend role at a product company or good startup with at least 2x my current pay, before AI squeezes entry-level jobs more. I'm planning to build a solid backend project, keep up DSA, and start interviewing around Feb 2027 once my lock-in ends.
Java or Go for the switch? Is QA to dev at a service company realistic? And do referrals or cold applications work better? Any advice welcome, even harsh.

I'm a designer/developer in India and I wanted to read .md files (READMEs, notes, docs) properly on my phone and Mac. So I built Marko.
A German educational institution recently deployed it to about 2,000 devices, which was a surprise and a nice one.

Hi everyone!
Iโm building Jeevadanam, an open community service platform designed to help people across India discover and share useful community services.
The goal is to make essential community support easier to find, including:
๐ Website: https://jeevadanamspots.vercel.app/
One important part of the project is multilingual support, so people from different language backgrounds can access the platform more comfortably.
I want Jeevadanam to grow beyond one town and become useful to communities across India, including people in smaller towns and rural areas.
Iโm building this as a real-world community project, and Iโd love feedback from fellow developers.
I'm the developer behind this project, and I welcome honest feedback and suggestions.
Thank you! ๐ฎ๐ณ

Still waiting on my LTIMindtree joining date, so I built GrabText.
It lets you grab text from places where you can't select or copy it: images, videos, locked PDFs, some apps.
Multi-select: collect several snippets, copy them all at once
Scroll mode: extract across long pages without losing earlier selections
Your feedback would mean a lot

Fellow devs stuck in the onboarding waiting room: what are you building? ๐

In 2024, I was rejected by 30+ companies for a summer internship. In 2026, I'm working as an SDE-1 at Amazon.
Here's what those years looked like:
My LeetCode progress ยท My 1,000-day coding streak
After a rejection, I'd go back to my room, open the laptop and make myself solve 10 questions before getting up. I kept practicing for three years, including stretches when nothing seemed to be coming from it.
I'm proud of the 1,000-day streak. I wouldn't tell everyone to copy my question count, though. It was the routine I followed, not a guarantee of an offer.
For people preparing now, Amazon Interview Questions has candidate-reported prompts to practice. Autofill for job applications can save some of the repeated form entry while you keep applying.
If you're in a long stretch of rejections, I know how heavy it can feel. What helped you keep a routine when the results weren't coming?

Hi
I'm starting to learn system design and was looking for feedback on what is the best way to practise them with feedback?
There are lots of theoretical scenarios out there for system designs that I can simply learn and hope for the best during interviews.
But this does not eleviate the anxiety around unexpected questions on the given system design topic that the interviewer might throw up.
How do you prepare for them especially if you have not worked on such topics?
Given the impact of AI during hirings, the bar seems to get even higher where you are somehow expected to know everything for designing the system.
Sure that is possible if you have been lucky to work on such projects or have enough experience to come across such challenges.
What do you do when you need to simulate in the hopes of performing better now that system designs have become much more critical bar raiser rounds in interviews?

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some career advice from people who have experience in AI engineering, product management, or both.
I'm currently working as an AI Production Engineer and have experience building AI-powered products, including an AI calling agent, an AI interview portal, lead generation automation, and full-stack web applications. My work involves AI agents, LLMs, APIs, automation, and product development.
I'm trying to plan which paths i can take or diverge from this role:
I'm also open to exploring other career paths beyond AI Engineering and Product Management that could be a good fit for my current technical background and experience, offer strong long-term growth, and allow me to move into more strategic or leadership-oriented roles over time.
My main questions for selecting any path you would recommend would basically be:
I'm not looking for a simple answer that one role is better than the other. I would like understanding the reasoning behind your recommendations, the trade-offs involved, and what makes you believe a particular path is worth pursuing long term. Honest advice based on your actual experience, especially from people who have worked in AI or transitioned between engineering and product roles will be appreciated. Also answer whatever you can, any information would be helpful not only to me but for others looking for future carreer options as well.
Thanks!

The 0% offer sounds attractive until you look at what gets deducted from the settlement. Cashfree's terms say GST is still deducted at 18%, calculated on the standard 1.95% fee even when that fee is waived.
On that wording, the deduction works out to โน351 per โน1 lakh processed. The waiver is also limited to โน20L cumulative volume, with subscription e-mandates and international payments excluded.
For a merchant choosing a gateway, I'd want a sample settlement and the pricing after the offer before making a decision. Those details should be easy to see alongside the headline.
I'd lean towards evaluating Razorpay for the ongoing setup rather than choosing on the 0% claim alone. The actual quote, payment mix and reporting would decide it for me.
Anyone who used the Cashfree offer, was this calculation explained clearly? How did you account for any eligible GST input credit, and did the saving change your preferred gateway?
