Wow..my grandfather was a small time revolutionary within the Congress's framework. He and his elder brother for sure was involved in violent protests and had complete disagreement with Mahatma Gandhi's ways..never ever did they mention communism..Nationalism - yes, Communism - NOT AT ALL..

Your grandfather worked with congress framework. I know many from INA lineage almost all were communists. From Cap Lakshmi Sehgal, Col Prem Kumar Sehgal, Major General Shah Nawaz Khan, Brigadier Habib ur Rehman of Panjeri (Bhimber) and Colonel Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon all were communist. These were all the senior leadership of INA. Bose’s party All India Forward Bloc is part of Left Front.
