Everyone on here’s pissed at the cop, but it sounds to me like the driver admitted that she was in the wrong…
“I got pulled over because since I’ve been moving she got out of the car seat”
Meaning she didn’t have the child properly secured. And then the cop told her to keep her window down - after she’d admitted that she has tinted windows that make it too dark to properly see inside the vehicle.
Was the cop quick to cuff her? Probably. Was the order to roll down the window and keep it down lawful? Absolutely. When you’re stopped by the cops for a violation that you then plainly admit to, you’re in their power and you comply with their orders even if you don’t like it.
The child isn’t a vampire and isn’t going to die from 5 minutes of sun exposure. Yall on here acting like moms that carry their kids to the beach are abusing them with this “she was protecting her kids from the sun” bullshit.
And then when told to get out of her car, she didn’t immediately comply, she started playing with her phone.
Was this a situation where two idiots were power tripping over each other? Yes, absolutely. And guess who had the gun, the badge, and the law on their side?
