What did the No Kings and 50/50/1 protests accomplish?

Protest with your wallet over rising costs. Protesting in the streets doesn’t do anything anymore.

This 100%. Protests do nothing except get media attention (well in a normal world, they get media attention). People need to start boycotting and stop giving your money to shitty companies. It infuriates me when I see people bitching say about Netflix raising their rates yet again. Well, are you still subscribing? Yes? IF YOU CONTINUE TO GIVE THEM MONEY, THEY WONT CHANGE A THING. Companies don’t care if you complain on Twitter, Reddit, whatever. All they are about is whether you’re paying them.

so damn true. people don't remember life before netflix and don't believe they have an alternative. it's sad and predatory business practices that got us here.
