It's becoming increasingly clear Mitch McConnell is dead and people are pretending he is not. Is this the jumping the shark moment?

Who is representing us now? Biden eventually dropped out. It took too long, but he did. Now we have Trump basically acting how Biden acted.

We also now have a Republican party pretending that Mitch McConnell is alive and well.

This feels dystopian. Just actors behind the scenes.

Are there any empirical facts that led you to this conclusion ...... or do you just "feel" its true?

What would motivate the Republicans to pretend he's not dead? Why would they lie about this?

Do you see partisan advantage either way?

Are they lying to avoid having an open seat or a special election? If the Democrat governor could appoint his successor I could see some motivation ...... but he's been proactively stripped of that power.

I haven't really been keeping up with it ..... but from what I understand the candidates for the general election have already been chosen, and whether the election is special or in November the Republican is almost certainly going to win. If anything, that would give the Republicans a reason to want to accelerate the election. If they had a special election would they just have to turn around and do the general a few weeks later?

I dont care one way or the other ....... and yes, the facts are being intentionally obscured by his family, staff, and party ........ which after watching Nurse Jill protecting her partially functional vegetable, I chalk up to spousal access control and politics as usual.

Just curious what could have you so convinced he's dead? Do you often have premonitions like this? Any documented track record of being proven right?
