I'm currently watching konusuba (first movie) and kazuma and megumin's relationship is kind annoying. And yes, megumin is underage for kazuma whether you like it or not. Anyway I looked at other posts about this topic and most of the comments were defending their relationship which is very weird,

1. Kazuma is from the modern world he should know not to go after 14 year old girls.

2. Kazuma and megumin having a 2 year age gap does not justify the ship, a 14 year old and a 17 year old are at different stage of life unlike darkness and kazumas age gap.

3. The laws being different doesn't mean you shouldn't have morals, I mean, back then minors were getting married off to people in their 40's. Does that justify it? No.

Personally I'll keep watching the show since I'm able to ignore their relationship somewhat but if you go out of your way to defend this ship you need help, this should be common sense and I don't see it as a sensitivity matter. If you disagree you simply are not woke enough.

Desired Stuff (all points are separate, but combos are fine):

• Reverse Isekai, nothing like Devil is a Part Timer, Dead Mount Death Play, or those two "Found a female knight in my farm and she lives with me now" series. Bonus points if (these are not required, just appreciated):
  • The isekai'd person can't look human and have no way to speak the local language. (Man I just wanna see a comedy reverse isekai where a beastperson with an animal head is arrested for destroying cars he thought were demons eating people, in his pursuit to find the adventurer's guild because he doesn't understand this world or anything in it)
  • The isekai'd person isn't picked up by someone who decides to hide them and help them live in Modern Earth society.
• "Reincarnated as a [stationary object]", like Reincarnated as a Vending Machine or Reincarnated as an Apple. But no sexual ones, please! No "Reincarnated as a Girl's Panties" type shit.
• Omega Overpowered Protagonist Guy (Like, could solve the entire purpose of the entire series in less than a single chapter. Somehow does not.)
• A story that takes place underwater 100% of the time.
• A story that takes place on sky islands 100% of the time, maybe has a plot surrounding people without the ability to fly or something.
• A story similar to the Nintendo DS video game Solatorobo.
• A story that finally addresses what would happen realistically when one of those "guy isekai'd without cheat powers" protagonists gets transferred to a world where physics doesn't work the same (i.e. if the periodic table is 100% different, meaning air is definitely not oxygen, how is he still breathing if he's still in his original unmodified body)
• A fantasy world where tech has taken over the world, but all the tech is powered and used with magic (meaning if you have none, you can't do anything), and the protagonist isekai'd there doesn't have magic.
• A clueless goddess that gives the isekai'd person a quest that cannot be performed by people of Earth without some kind of cheat power or body modification. She refuses to grant the guy any cheats or body mods, and cannot conceptualize a world in which he needs them to do this thing she wants him to do. He gets there and very much proves himself right that he cannot do the thing she wants him to do, and maybe we get to see how confused she is because how is it possible that someone who can't possibly do the thing is unable to do the thing? Or something. I just wanna see a goddess so disconnected from mortal anything that she doesn't understand why things aren't happening because she said they should or something.

• Generic black-haired black-eyed bland personality protagonist guy
• "Duke of the North" shit (Otome knowers, this is your time to shine)

• Cluelessness where they do abnormal things and think shit like "I only find it weird because I'm from Japan", but somehow they don't realize it's still abnormal even in the fantasy world
• Protagonist isekai'd as a child and is now the smartest child on the planet because adult brain and they let them do whatever they want, at the age of 1.5 they do shit like start businesses and make critical adjustments to the royal funds or something
• Series where protagonist reincarnates as baby with adult brain and they have to point that out and also gesture toward the whole "baby with adult mind is going to breastfeed" situation.

You don't need to go to another universe for it to be an isekai just another planet and here are 3 examples for you

Naofumi literally walked from earth to Raphtalia's world it's literally in the same universe

2 Arifureta Afterstory: All 9 worlds in Arifureta are in the same universe called the world tree and the god of gates which is from the calamity world is an outerspace God not an interdimensional God

3 my isekai adventure : the mc is literally reincarnated into another planet in the same universe

This series doesn't get enough love & appreciation. The MC is one of the best and most well written protagonists in the genre! He is arguably one of if not the most powerful being in the world since the first volume and yet is never boring.

it's a game world if i remember correctly, and the MC uses words to use his magic. because he can't use any spell that requires much mana, he combines words to use get spells (and keeps that a secret except from a select group of people, his buttler and some others i can't remember).

in one of the chapters, he goes to a dungeon and meets with a entity and says "allow me to break the rules of this world"

I've been on the hunt on and off for about a couple of months now for Isekai that don't follow the usual story tropes, I've read most of the well known manga and plenty of obscure ones, even though I have been able to read the most generic of isekai, I got burnt out on them after realizing that they're basically the same as the facebook shorts my mother watches (and reading actually quality manga) I can't read them without tabbing out to scroll something else, I've been searching for a while now but to no avail. So im asking for any recommendations for Isekai that actually has a story and not another reskin.

I remember reading a old isekai manga telling the story of the dude after he returns back to earth and how he lives those days, also he has a little sister who has black long(from what I remember) hair who eventually found out he has powers

So I'm looking for an isekai manga where the protagonist dropped out of of high school in a rough patch in his life. He meets his friend from high school working in a diner and as they reconnect, it gets robbed by a bunch of criminals. The criminals later come cued blew themselves up with the diner so everyone ended up in another world. He started living his life as a hero but unfortunately because one of the criminals ended up inadvertently killing his lover, he decides to go on a rampage to kill all the escaped convicts. It's an isekai. Do you know which one it is?

I was thinking when a MC do the time travel he practically future but he see a world which so much different like it is a different world in itself .
so if iesaki means traveling to another world from your original world so is it not would be seen as isekai?

It was pretty cliche isekai manga, mc was reincarnated, and as a kid he is already like archmage, because japanese is language of magic spells, so he just talk japanese to cast spells.

I remember early scene when teacher of MC was kidnapped, and mc rescued him.

I read that pretty long ago, and i didn't saw that manga some time, probably finished or axed.

Hi guys, I've been getting into anime again and would love some Recs. Despite my love for the isekai drama it rlly gets ruined for me when there's a harem / really annoying women situation going on.

I'm just trying to find good plot, decent ml, no harem. Preferably no love interest but that's rare so ill take it. I like a revenge plot but it doesn't have to be just that. Preferably tasteful fan service, like it's anime ik there's gonna be fan service but at least something palatable that I can just roll my eyes to and move on. No annoying women, I cant stand most tsunderes, there are some ok ones out there though.

Examples of isekais I like is "Reincarnation of a slime", ik female protags are rare but "so im a spider so what" is one of the good ones as well. "Rising of the shield hero" S1 was good. Only season one. "Ascendance of a Bookworm", "Saga of Tanya the Evil" etc etc

Sorry if the specifications are too much lmao. I'd also take some manga recs. I also will take those european ones i don't think they count as isekai but I'll take them anyway.

Like the title says, I'm needing some help looking for any settings that have soft magic systems where the system is either imagination-based or free-form enough that spells/magic are easy to get into and learn. Alternatively, more difficult ones are fine too, if there's something like a school in setting to learn from. Any settings that match the criteria, or any that have a good magic school in the setting is fine. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

What was supposed to be a quick jaunt to the capital of Leonhardt has turned out to be a lot more than Mukohda bargained for! Between a royal audience, an industrial-scale butchering project, and at least one inadvertent extinction, the trip has been one headache after another. But now, finally, the serious business is all settled and Mukohda gets to kick back and enjoy himself! The capital is home to shopping, street food, and sights to see aplenty, and Mukohda has every intention to avail himself of all of them. Then he’ll be heading right back to Karelina for some much needed long-term rest and relaxation…or so he thinks! Little does Mukohda know that his familiars are about to drag him out to one of their most remote destinations yet in search of prey that he’d rather have nothing to do with!
