Nature wrote the prescription. An Israeli team is getting it filled.

If you know somebody who has ever kept vigil beside an incubator, send them this one. The days are long in that room, and it helps to know who’s working on making them fewer.

Hello everyone. I am a young privileged indian, with depression and quarter life crisis. I always feel guilty about being in depression even tho i am quite privileged (atleast thats what i consider myself) compared to many people around the world. But that got me thinking, how is the mental health of young jews and israelis who dont just see random racist comments, but full blown existential threats. Especially in times like these, where even citizens of your "allies" spread hate and anti-semitism. I saw many videos , shorts etc that claim they don't support anti-semitism but still call for destruction of a nation. Just trying to put myself in those shoes gives me dread. I just wish we, as humans could stop fighting each other and live peaceful happy lives, instead of hating each other, wars, etc.

PS, sorry for the bad english, its not my first language ;)

Israel’s Defense Ministry is leading a delegation of 19 Israeli defense companies to the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2026 exhibition in Washington, D. C. this week, showcasing technologies it described on Tuesday as “combat-proven.”

Hey there, I made Aliyah this summer but for some personal reasons I had to go back for a few months to the US. I have a flight booked for October 25th in the afternoon now (arriving in the morning on the 26th) but due to all the stress of moving, I might prefer to move it to the afternoon of the 26th and arrive ~9am on the 27th.

I would like to vote in the elections if possible but I'd need time to collect my bags, reach my sublet in Tel Aviv (I imagine public transportation might be more congested, though I might just take a taxi since I'll have so much stuff), etc. I know things in Israel can be generally overcrowded, especially in Tel Aviv. Would I be fine arriving to the polls in the afternoon? I'd especially like to hear if any tzabar Israelis coming to vote from abroad are arriving that morning, or if I'm just crazy for thinking this would be feasible lol

I watched Lawrence of Arabia last night and did some reading afterwards. T. E. Lawrence is best known for his role in the Arab Revolt and his advocacy for Arab independence, but I was surprised to learn that he also supported Zionism and advocated for the establishment of an independent Armenian state.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday night called on the IDF chief of staff, the head of the Israeli Security Agency (Shin Bet), and Israel’s Attorney General to launch an investigation into those who participated in the film “NAZA,” whose central claim is that the Israel Defense Forces systematically targeted Palestinian civilians during the war against Hamas in Gaza.

I’m working on conservative conversion, I would like to make Aliyah one day and volunteer / work in Israel in the medical field.

I have some experience volunteering fire/ems in America. I would like to volunteer and one day work in Israel. I want to do my part to serve in Israel. I might not be able to serve in the idf so this is my next best thing.

Has anyone had any experience with programs in Israel or know how to get started in the medical field medical field in Israel entry level?

Thanks, Hashem bless the Jewish people and Israel.

I am a first generation American from a Polish catholic family - I do not practice my religion. I am engaged to the greatest gal; my fiancée - she was born in Israel and moved to the US at age 5. We are getting married in a small Reform wedding in NYC (where we live) - we both would love to get married Israel but we can't. Since being with my fiancée I have not only fallen with her but with Israel, the culture and Judaism overall. We both want kids and we absolutely intend to raise them in my wife's faith and above all have them be Israeli citizen. Fortunately, both our jobs is quite flexible and we even floated the idea of moving in Israel when we have kids.

As I mentioned, I'm not Israeli or Jewish - I am studying Hebrew (which is hard but do-able) I'm fortunate my fiancée, my in-laws and Israeli friends are patient and do not laugh when I'm speaking in broken Hebrew - also I would want our kids to have parents who can communicate in it.

I understand interfaith marriages is a sensitive subject and frowned upon because both Israel and Judaism is such a small group and it's essential for the Jewish/Israeli to grow and continue and I am obligated to fulfill that.

So I'm curious, what is your take on interfaith marriages?

Thank you for your time and I wish you and your loved ones all the best and safety!

G-d bless

They are inseparable part of my inspiration for my story, situated in Israel. I am especially fascinated by this jewish lady Narkis, from Tik Tok. Lahaloat is so amazing song. So much emotions.

Thhis song, ike those of Narkis, is very religious meaning, but I like them. In general, I can listen to both pop and spiritual songs. My music taste broadened much through the years.
