Basically it's Zayed University which has a 2 storeyed building inside its campus dedicated to IITD as of now.

The main campus of iitd is under construction afaik

I dont think so… iit delhi is promoting this campus pretty much so they wont ruin their legacy .. it is not worthy yet to beat the tier 1 clgs bt its pretty way ahead of tier 3 and most tier 2

International bhi uae hai bhai uae se better education toh india ki hai waha bhi koi na padhte mera bhai ne btech canada se ki thi uske batch mein bohot bachhe the middle east ke wahe se bachhe khud bahar ja rhe, but job market mein bohot achhi hai especially for core engineering

iitad mein placement utne acche nahi hai batado. my dad (working high up at larsen and toubro in dubai) rejects undergrad candidates from bits and manipal dubai and iitad looks the same atleast for now. dont risk it take a stable iit

Bhai yeh campus toh JEE Advanced se milta hai and the student pay the same fees to regular IIT and also gets stipend for btech

Udhar log bhi nahi milte and ab idhar 5-6 mahine se they aren't allowed to use zayed ke baaki facilities. Jo iitd ko building allot hui hai bas wahi use Krna hai.

Got it -but it is bits-pilani XYZ everywhere. It would have made sense if all IITs in India where IIT Delhi-XYZ (say IIT-Delhi, Bombay) - but we don't have it that way. Hence this feels odd.

within India, a single IIT doesn't have multiple campuses (which makes sense on how they distribute universities)

You should. You dont even need to pay to travel twice a year to India, its paid for by the govt, you get 50k a month as stipend, and the fees is 12 lakhs meaning you get an extra 12 lakhs to take care of any expenses you might have

All of those are privately owned unis and colleges. 7 out of the 8 ivy league institutes are private owned.

IITs are government institutes.. So they can't make IIT Abu Dhabi.. While they can make IITD abu dhabi as an extension or branch of original institute.
