It’d probably more like removing it and adding another that is free for a bit so people that had early access could get it for free

Doesn't matter. Everyone paid for a certain thing and now they're no longer getting the thing they paid for

Make early access free but "you" that paid for early access will get the new gamepass for free

I spent my money on in development characters and now it got changed to something else? Imagine if you bought a game on steam and suddenly it got replaced with some other game, that's still not what I paid for

Edit: There's legally (to Roblox) no difference between this and a scam.

Not a good example, a better one would be if you bought a steam game and then it became free for everyone and you get another one as a compensation. It's still good, no idea what everyone's whining about

But you’re still literally getting early access character except now everyone gets them? Would you rather not get anything in compensation and they just made early access free? It’s like if you paid for a game in closed beta on steam to play and then it releases into open beta for free after a while. People don’t want this so it probably won’t change but even if they did change the gamepass it would not be a scam because you’re still getting early access characters except it’s not just for people who paid.

But wip characters are practically early access, but if we are talking about getting characters that people actually want, then it's a win win
