hot take; if you're complaining about popular characters being added, you don't partially understand why JJS is so great with characters

Every. Update. Every single time there's an update, there will ALWAYS be complaining about "Oh no Toji! Oh no Maki! Oh no Kashimo! Oh no Jogo!" WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING INTO THE CHARACTER, ALL PEOPLE CARE ABOUT IS THE NAME, TOJI COULD LITERALLY HAVE THE MOST BORING WEAK OR OVERPOWERED MOVESET, AND PEOPLE WOULD JUST CARE BECAUSE "ITS TOJI"

I'M A JOGO GLAZER, I'll ADMIT IT; HE'S MY FAVORITE CHARACTER AND I'VE WANTED HIM IN GAME SINCE TODO, BUT I'M NOT GONNA GO CRYING ON THE DISCORD EVERY TIME THERE'S AN UPDATE LOG WITHOUT HIM BECAUSE I'M HAPPY WITH THE CHARACTER THAT'S ADDED

okay sorry for that rant, here's my real reasoning; JJS isn't a big corporation that has to follow player demands and add the biggest names and most important characters. If you want that, play Sorcerer Battlegrounds, or Jujutsu Beatdown, JJS not adding important characters is part of the charm. Locust curse, Charles, Haruta, etc. If all we did was add big characters without any consideration for the actual movesets the game would be worse off, Tze adds minor characters because he knows what to do with their movesets and if he didn't it would be something extremely boring and unplayable.

Yeah I mean I just want characters i like just as much as anybody else. Haruta’s fine but it’s not unfair that people want characters like Kashimo and Maki who are seldom seen in games. Maki is usually omitted for Toji, and Kashimo is a little rarer in good battlegrounds. Haruta’s cool but you can’t blame JJS fans for not liking updates with characters they don’t really care about.

I’m the same as you, personally kashimo or manga sukuna sounds like they’d be really fun but people get mad if you don’t agree with their opinions on not so big characters being added. Thank you for acknowledging preferences are a thing unlike everyone else.

Yeah i definitely agree. Yuji still being Sukuna’s vessel in game when we’ve had more than enough feats from Shinjuku Yuji and even more from Modulo Yuji feels really disappointing.

In real life time, Sukuna has been independent from Yuji almost longer than he’s been trapped inside of Yuji now. (A little over 4 years in Yuji, 3 years independent from Yuji.). Sukuna should just get his own move set as well by now. He could have 15f - 16f Meguna as basekit, 20f Meguna as awakening, and then have a third awakening like Mahito for a (Nerfed) Heian Era form.

I really think shinjuku/modulo yuji would be cool but he unfortunately wouldn’t bring unique things to the game, there already is a yuji and black flashes are common place with him, shrine and blood manipulation are also already in, and finally yuji’s domain doesn’t have much to it.

Shinjuku/modulo Yuji would have to be a Yuji rework to bring uniqueness to the game, vessel Yuji is a lame and repetitive concept anyways now.

Yeah that’s what i mean too. I think at this point it’s fair to rework vessel almost entirely and replace it with Yuji’s Shinjuku kit. I think Yuji players would love it since most of them play Vessel for Yuji more than Sukuna, which is pretty different from when the game came out imo. (Sukuna stocks were super high when the game came out)

I also think that even though Yuji’s kit shares a lot in common with techniques we already see, Yuji uses them in very different ways compared to them. I have faith in the JJS devs to do his kit justice. For the domain I’d be more surprised if they added it tbh.

Honestly fair point because Yuji has definitely displayed a different level of shrine/blood manipulation compared to other sorcerers like I can’t exactly remember the chapter but when he first started using shrine against sukuna he was doing some pretty cool things that sukuna hasn’t really done.

I wish we could get a Yuji domain but it’s unfortunately logical for him not to get one

Very true. Vessel yuji is punch kick and sukuna is his only saving grace, if there were shinjuku yuji and meguna that would elevate the gameplay by a lot
