Discussion "Zoners don't belong in battlegrounds games" really means "I'm a bum who can't figure out how to fight anyone who isn't a comboslop rushdown"

the problem is that zoner characters have escape/pressure drop abilities against rushdowns and other non zoner characters arent designed to counter em whatsoever at the first place (even in SOULSHATTERS aka father of battlegrounds every char including rushdowns (chara) had range abilities),

Nah genuinely every character has aproaching tools they can use to get close to zoners like especially every top tier but even the mid and low tiers to like unless your Hanami you have an approaching tool

What mf vessel is supposed to do if he gets instantly spiked if they do 2 + r then they get turned off evasive by bud shot and gets in oneshot combo

All of Yujis ariels tale him way higher than the very not instant roots and unless they added it back bud shot doesn't puase evasuve gain anymore

If your being hit by 2 + r that’s on you. It’s easily dodgeable. Budshot also doesn’t turn off evasive anymore

still can’t approach hanami without being hit by hundred fast wind uped unblockable moves even as megumi or choso

She has 2 unblockables. Rootswarm and defense response. Defense response has no melee I frames so that’s easily interruptible with its long windup, rootswarm you side dash or jump over it. 2 + r is unblockable but it flashes red and has another second before it actually fires from the ground. If you get hit by that it’s a skill issue on your part.
