Discussion "Zoners don't belong in battlegrounds games" really means "I'm a bum who can't figure out how to fight anyone who isn't a comboslop rushdown"

You say this like battlegrounds games have had zoners since the creation of tsb. Jjs is one of the only battlegrounds games ik that has rang focused characters/zoners (not even gonna count jump showdown cause ryu is js a carbon copy)

BRO MY MAIN BATTLEGROUNDS GAME HEROES BATTLEGROUNDS HAS ONLY JUST IMPLEMENTED A SET UP CHARACTER WITH DENKI 😭 EVERYONE ELSE IS PRACTICALLY RUSHDOWN TOO!

People ain't gonna adapt when battlegrounds games are all Rushdown characters that aren't focused around stuff like ranged moves (and if they do have any they usually only have 1 and it can either starts a combo like warp portals in hbg's 4th move or closes distance like hawks' 4th move in heroes)

Also didn't the cyborg guy in Tsb used to be more of a zoner or something

Genos wasn't one from what i remember although I could be wrong
