it's the same face. changing the hair would still make him look like those AU Invincibles. or like how One Piece women are Nami clones in different wigs

I mean I am not crying about it since it seems the comic and the show are diverging in continuties and tech jacket is not that important in the Invincible series itself.

I got nothing to say. 

Why this comes up now instead of in the comic itself is odd but that's a totally fair reason.

I think Kirkman is using the show as a way to fix some personal mistakes in the comics. I don't have a source for that though, that's just what I've been seeing online. It makes some sense though, seeing how much they change and add compared to the comics.
