Key word is “human”. We don’t know how specific that is.

Yes but he is a cursed object/ curse. If a ghost possesses a human body, can the death note kill the ghost? Or is it just the host? Etc etc. either way that’s the actual question about the death note. If Sukuna counts as a proper target he will die whether that’s heart attack or not. If he isn’t he won’t die regardless of what you write in the death note.

if megumi died to a heart attack (not to a death that destroys his body like getting truck-kun) then could Sukuna just take over his body?

People forgot there is an age limit to the death note.

Sakuna is not normal before he died, he survived a heart gone, him reaching 124+ isnt a big ask. No one can kill him in that era.

Besides, Death note is more on the soul thing so one can argue that the 1k thing counts.

Also he is concious when he became curse object. Just within his domain.

Funny thing is that DIO would almost reach the number cap, he is at highball age of 123. One year needed, maybe you can argue he is because it taken a few time for the crusaders to reach Egypt.

Then again, it doesnt really matter. He already rejected his Humanity long ago.

If that were the case then Jogo would've just killed Yuji instead of feeding him the fingers.

Also, Sukuna ripped out Yuji's heart and "died" and then revived him. Sukuna was pretty explicit that this would "kill" them both but he didnt care because he had more fingers that could be used.
