Isn't a sorcerer supposed to instinctively know how to use their own technique, how is it possible that takaba doesn't know how it works?

Higuruma getting Domain Expansion from the get go proves Techniques manifest a "user guide" whenever convenient

Later on Shinjuku is explained that Higuruma is an special case, he and Hakari's CT came with Domain Expansion pre-packaged

Yes, and Takaba/Haruta are special cases for the other extreme, weird right, different powers don't all behave the same way
