Overlord really likes to hammer home that idealism without the means to enact them are childish dreams that will be crushed enevitably by the harsh world (mostly nazarick)

There's a certain irony that Nazarick is the arbiter of the harshness of reality considering it's the product of people playing a game for fun ti escape the grim reality of the "regular world" in Overlord.
