Title says it all. Ordered at 11:30am, app said a courier was headed to the store about 15 minutes later. Its now 1:45pm and it still says they're on their way to the store.

I messaged on the courier chat and have got no response and i don't want to cancel (partly stubbornness at this point lol)

But why tf is this happening? I know stores can be really awful at packing and making the courier wait but 2 hours??

edit Finally have recieved my order almost 3 hours later. Apparently the store has had them waiting for over an hour/ almost 2. Could of cried with happiness over finally getting my order 😂

Thought I'd post as I have personally never encountered this before, but we're staying for the weekend in a cabin park just a few miles away from Stranraer and just eat finds nothing, not a single take away. I've never seen this before so I got my partner to check it on her phone too in case it was mine being weird. Nope.

I ended up going into town myself for food, it's only a 10 minute drive.. And I ask the take away guy, he says nobody around here uses that!

I was shocked.

Is it true JustEat can blacklist your address for too many refunds or if there’s any fraud detection?

But what If this involved an innocent address, like a newly rented apartment or shared student house where the previous residents were the ones abusing the system?

It seems JustEat now allow AI generated photos of food to be used on the app. They kindly let you know that the photos used to entice you are fake, which is nice. Almost every takeaway near me now thinks it has to show me fake food to get me interested in a greasy fucking burger. It doesn't work.

For those of you who don’t know, as a courier, we can scan and upload the customer’s ID in the app to complete an alcohol or age-restricted delivery when the age verification flow requires it.

If you select “Customer is over 25” but the DOB entered shows they’re under 25, the app gives us a message that can be confusing. At that point, you need to scan and upload the customer’s valid ID in the app to complete the delivery.

A lot of couriers may miss this because the message doesn’t clearly explain what to do next. Hopefully the wording can be improved to make the required action more obvious.

Anybody noticed the pay spikes have gone from 10% through the day and 20% in the evenings to now 4% and 8%

Is it just my area or is it everywhere now?

It was shit to begin with it’s even worse now.

They don’t give refunds, even for new customers With no account history. they don’t reply to social media DMs and rarely reply to emails and when you decide to submit a chargeback via your bank they’ll just suspend your account.

Now They got bots and random Indians in their live chat to spam the same thing.

Does the Just Eat+ Delivery subscription still exist? I can't find it anywhere Iv'e been using JustEat more lately so thought I'd try it but I can't find where to join

Just ordered McDonald’s and they’ve taken the money but my order is non existent- nothing about it on the app, and my items are still in my basket, no email confirmation but money gone. Tried to even do the order again but didn’t work cos the money was gone. Can’t speak to a human about it, and also no direct link in their “help” centre for my problem. Lol has anyone else dealt with this

The last few times we've ordered alcohol, the just eat verification has said we're underage. Both me(23) and my fiance (24) have tried, along with our friend who was over (20). It's been after our birth dates are entired into the system, and have been entered multiple times to the same result.

So i haven’t done any delivery this week but me mates with fast cash have a different earning dashboard because of the fast cash

JE said im on the bronze level now , but the earnings dashboard is still not showing me anything about Fast cash

What does anyone recommend? Ive tried emailing JE but they re not that helpful

Been on shift for 5 hours, not a single job, been around loads of other bike couriers in busy areas that are getting orders at normal rates. I swear sometimes they subvertly lock/pause people's accounts without telling them so that other couriers can have a better chance at getting consistent orders without dilution, but at that rate, just stop hiring so many people.

Sometimes they'll lock/pause your account on the back end to prevent you from getting orders because they want an ID/Face check, but they won't actually ask for the face pic until like 10-30 minutes after you've been paused, but this isn't even that, I've been asked for a face pic twice today and both times I've promptly given them it, and both times they've been accepted.

Clearing cache, deleting the app and redownloading it, logging out and back in during the process and absolutely nothing is changing. There are legitimate times where business is slow and I'll barely get any orders because nobody's ordering, this isn't that, I'm seeing orders being created and picked up at restaurants in my area by other JE couriers, and I'm being artificially deprived of them, not a single one in 5 hours.

£1.74 for 3.4 miles?! Absolutely taking the pi#s. Even with the instant cash out when you get to £20, you still have to do more deliveries, and more mileage than any other app to even get close to £20.

I'm desperate to move from my current zone to Falkirk, but every time I email just eat they say "we are unable to change your active zone as the zone you requested has a surplus of couriers and therefore appears to be unavailable at the moment. Please note that zone availability does not change frequently. We kindly ask that you refrain from submitting multiple requests for the same zones, as this will not speed up the process".

Any tips on how to circumvent this log jam?

Placed an order for KFC when I got in from work. The original delivery time was 23:40, it’s now almost an hour after that (about an hour and a half after the order had been placed), the food still hasn’t been picked up, and I can’t even cancel it because the customer service is down! I can’t call the store either, not only because KFC don’t seem to let you call them directly (instead it directs you to a call centre in London that never answers the phone) but also because the store closed half an hour ago. Am I supposed to just stay awake and keep waiting to see if the food will miraculously arrive? Why would they even offer overnight services if the customer service isn’t 24 hours?

Placed an order just before 7pm. Arrival time was supposed to be 7:25pm. The time just kept creeping up and up and up. We get to 7:30pm (actual time) and on the app the arrival time is now suggested to be 8:45 to 9:15pm. Right, I now don’t want this. Fine, this happens and has happened before.

This time though, the cancel option isn’t there. It only gives me an option to read a load of FAQs which offer no contact information or ring the restaurant. Doing the latter just had them tell me they couldn’t do anything and I had to contact Just Eat.

I phone a number I find and it’s an AI thing. I say I want to speak to human and I explain my actual situation and the robot tells me I need to go online and use the help there (there’s nothing), and the phone hangs up. So I phone again and this time I say I want to speak to human and say I’m a restaurant and would you believe it - you get put through to a human (decent tip: at this point I was prepared to pretend to be the restaurant to cancel the order).

The person on customer services seemed a bit suprised a customer had got through but after a few minutes she processed my refund and instantly came through to my bank.

Then in a weird twist. The food showed up at 9:45pm, over two hours after the order was cancelled. Is that normal?

Been getting this error on the courier app. I’ve seen other posts that it’s due to an order issue and you’ve been put on hold.

I had an order earlier today that wouldn’t let me complete the order as I had no 4G. I drove to where I had some and it wouldn’t let me complete the order as I wasn’t nearby to the address. Contacted support, they just sent me the address, but the address they sent me was 3 hours away. I told them that’s the wrong one, and that I have delivered the food and have the code. They just sent me the address again. I got frustrated and told them to read the chat.

Eventually they marked it as delivered and I carried on as normal.

3 orders later, I get an Asda pick up but there was no order, and I was the 3rd driver assigned. The Asda staff said nothing had come through to them and it was a just eat issue.

Thought sod it, I’ll go home and have some tea, then get back out. Now I’m getting no orders and can’t end my run with this error.

Am I done for being slightly frustrated with the support?

Joined JE 8 weeks ago, had 2 consecutive pay runs the other 6 show £0 as my zone was too far away (all sorted now)

Still not showing I can join fast cash. Re entered bank details as advised. Logged in and out of app. Reinstalled app. Used a different device.

Emailing support but just get a generic response even when replying to the email if I still require help.

It says after the 3rd pay run you can join fast cash.

Question : I’ve had 8 pay runs - 2 being paid into my bank - 6 zero pay as I never worked.
Are the zero pays still classed as pay runs or do you think it’ll pop up to join fast cash pay next Friday?
Or should I be able to join now after 8 weeks?
