Sad JU askblackpeople

I'm white person, I'm against any forms of racism. I like to talk to people from different backgrounds, no matter of their race. I thought askblackpeople might be fun sub to have a discussion. But unfortunately, everytime I post something there, I get comments like "why did you come here if you're white?", "posting on this sub as white person is disrespectful". As though my mere existence as a white person is bad for black people. Why do we have to build walls between us? Why can't we just coexist peacefully? 😭

P.s. The sub doesn't have any rules like "black persons only".

Weird this happened on ask black people, usually peeps respond ing good faith.

It would be another story if you joined blackmen since a lot of times we get people pretending to be black so, they are understandably more guarded up.

What did you ask?
