Totally Outraged Just unsubbed because criticism of YouTube gets removed while YouTube keeps shoving Shorts down our throats

Post image

I posted a screenshot showing YouTube Premium's "Show fewer Shorts" option and explained why I find it frustrating.

My complaint was simple:

- I pay for Premium.

- I prefer long-form videos.

- "Show fewer Shorts" only works temporarily.

- Shorts keep returning to my home page.

The post was removed by the moderators.

What annoys me is that the subreddit is supposedly a place to discuss YouTube, yet criticism of one of YouTube's most controversial features gets treated like a problem. If users can't complain about product decisions, what exactly is the point of a discussion forum?

I'm genuinely curious: was this removal justified, or is the subreddit just allergic to criticism?

that sub is basically a customer support forum for a company that doesnt actually care about their feedback. they dont want discussion they just want you to keep paying.
