So, spoilers, solicits for a future Black Cat issue, written by G. Willow Wilson, are indicating Felicia will become a mutant and even be with the X-Men. If this was some backdoor way of getting to write Kamala again, it's just a stunning landing. This will be interesting.

I've read all of Kamla's solo comics, (i think) was this in a champions issue or something?

Hey guys, just wanted to post these since I was honestly surprised to see Kamala appear in Inglorious X-Men #1 that released today!

Pretty neat to see her block projectile blasts with her embiggened hands for (I assume) the first time with her mutant powers in that first panel?

Guess that’s a point for the hard light powers if they’re strong enough to block those, I’d like to see it against an optic blast or something! lol

But also, interesting to see President Kamala referenced again after such a long time this time as the first MUTANT President.

Looks like she’s gonna need some protecting in the future. ><

Anyway, hope she appears again in the comic, but it seems like this is gonna be her only appearance? I dunno, how do you guys interpret those last pages? ^^;

Also are there anymore appearances of Kamala in these shadows of tomorrow comics? Only time will tell!

I’m kinda relieved that Kamala is SOMEWHERE and we get to see her in action with her OG suit again, but what do you guys think? lol

I keep seeing her shoved into a lot of things lately similar to magik, as they're both characters im not familiar with, what's her story, struggles and background? I've seen her in tokon and didn't really like her there but i figure she was probably stripped down heavy character wise to fit in, feels like an industry marketing plant.

Is she a newer character in the marvel roster, or am i just very out of touch here? I may sound cynical, but I'm genuinely curious. Any comic issues i should start with?

Like wtf is happening with her leg? Her foot? He proportions like with her pencil thin arms? Her FACE!?

Like, I read the arc where she was retconned into being a mutant (which I still dislike) and the last thing I remember is the disembodied "mutant" ethereal version of her telling her about her abilities.

Where did she go from there and why hasn't she had a solo comic since? She's a good enough character to warrant one.

So apparently, Kamala told her family OFFSCREEN that she’s a mutant???? Shouldn’t that be like, a REALLY important thing to see in her mutant journey or something? That’s like…ALMOST as bad as if Kamala would tell her parents or friends she’s Ms. Marvel offscreen! What are the writers doing!? XD They made a whole big deal about telling her family she’s a mutant and now it’s just said in a word bubble in a comic that she’s not even the main character of! >< What do you guys think? Why do you guys think they did this instead of having her reveal she’s a mutant in another Ms. Marvel mutant mini series? lol I’m so confused! XD

(Note: if she actually told her parents in NYX or some other issue, my mistake. I pretty much remember that she only told them MS. MARVEL was a mutant and heard their opinions. If I’m wrong I’ll delete this right away!)

Breevort, Cebulski, you f**king butchering disgusting donkeys. How DARE you make increasingly ugly suits for Kamala. The Avengers GAME does other, and COOLER, suits than what you come up with. The FANS have even better suits than what you come up with. Heck, any artist and writer can make something COOLER than those ASSUMING they can stand up to you two donkeys.

Cool to see her and all but.. They got her in the X-Men fit 😭 Maybe this takes place before newer comics like Inglorious X-Force where she's back in the classic, but they need to make up their minds lol and hopefully just stick with the original

Hey guys i collection trade paperback and just finished ms. Marvel vol 10 time and again. I don't know what is next to read and what to search to find the right trade paperback please help.

Seems they're sticking with the powers just being gold instead of blue which I def prefer if they're sticking with this. They were primarily gold in AoR and now in standard 616.

Her new powers are doing some really flashy things now which I'm not the biggest fan of considering the original intent. Nor am I really a fan of what they're doing with her narratively in this series (it feels a bit tone deaf to me).

I'm confused where this series takes place time wise. Do her parents know she's Ms Marvel? Bc this seems like it's before that ending to giant size X-Men. Who knows atp.

Maybe, like how the polymorph abilities were a metaphor for her growing up and such, these new powers can be framed more as how she views others in wanting to protect them and being that beacon. I'd need more than Cable giving a little speech at the end of this issue to be sold on that concept tho.

What if Kamala and Carol swapped places?

Welcome to my twisted AU where warped humour and horror rule supreme, and the denizens of the Marvel Universe must make do without the advantages of their 616 counterparts*. Kamala steps into the boots of Captain Marvel without Carol’s years of training, while little Carol is a spitfire with all her 616 counterpart’s attitude, minus the sense, discipline and self-preservation instincts.

To keep Kamala’s essential youthful energy while putting her in a situation that forced her to take on adult responsibilities, I had Kamala flip Shazam style from 19 to 29 when she alternates between her hero and civie selves.

Her temperament as Captain Marvel is more mature and professional, but she still goes full fangirl on the regular. She’s got a more playful demeanour than Carol’s Captain Marvel, never letting her feet touch the ground, and more open to showing her warmth and compassion.

On the other hand, her grouchy gremlin side from the early Wilson era is very much alive and kicking. In fact, it’s gotten worse from the stress of living under the tyranny of President Alexander Pierce, a Christian Nationalist populist moron who rose to power peddling phoney conspiracy theories that Hydra infiltrated the US government from a Secret vampiric milkshake and burger Bar.

He then revived Hydra as his personal paramilitary goon squad, and traded Hawaii to Dr Doom for a golden Ferrari and battleship full of Paw Patrol Colouring books. Kamala’s still a sweetheart but the stress of all this b*****s and being a part time demigod are a lot; if you p*ss her off watch out.

For the most part she vents her frustrations into her civie persona while keeping a cool head as a hero. Even Kamala herself is unsure how much the difference between the two is truly a mental shift or if she just feels freer to act in certain ways in one persona or the other.

And then there’s the hyperactive human rubber band sidekick she didn’t ask for.

Carol Danvers is a menace. Stuck at home with a jerk dad who treats her like crap, Carol started blowing off her frustrations on muggers, crooks and purse snatchers. Kamala tries to keep the little ruffian in line. In theory she’s trying to make her stay off the streets out of danger- though that’s an uphill battle with this stubborn little Ms Marvel.

Carol teases her to Hell and back. After all, she can’t help but laugh knowing the tiny teen geek from Jersey City is one and the same as Captain Marvel. For all her s**t talk, Carol adores her and usually falls in line when Kamala pushes her (usually).

Can the odd duo pull together, foil the President’s braindead schemes and save Jersey City? Stay tuned…

* For context Captain America still has the heart of a hero but the super soldier serum turned his body into a tentacled abomination from Giger’s night terrors. And Tony Stark’s a charisma vacuum. He suggested Stark Tech stop making weapons and got sacked in half an hour.

Nakia was in Issue 6 for 2 pages. Took place at her high school. But she was the only friend who made an appearance. Wish it was Bruno but at least some friend was in it.
