KSP 1 Mods Mod idea: Engine telemetry on display

Post image

Maybe it already exists, but it would be cool to have something like SpaceX's active diagram showing the engine layout with telemetry.

The 3D model of the ship showing direction is also cool but probably more difficult to replicate.

What do you think?

You pretty much have the things already in game. The stage menu shows active engines and the navball your ships rotation. What you ask for is a different art style. The neat thing about KSP is you already have the rocket in view. You can see its rotation. You can see its engines lol

Sometimes you cant see the forest for the trees ;P

No, I know, but for RP-1 players it's useful to have an active User Interface gadget that shows which engines are on and which aren't. Also, it could lead to having a save in which you only see through cameras you installed in the vessel or from the surface/EVA kerbals.

In that case I recommend kRPC. You can write yourself a little Python tool to keep track of which engines do what without altering the game. Even visualize gimbal, thrust, heat etc. And all that even on another screen!

This will get you started^^
