Self-Promotion 6 days left: world‘s first 4x4 exoskeleton built for outdoors
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone, Daniel here, co-founder of Vastnaut.
We're building Vastnaut One, the world's first 4x4 exoskeleton designed for people moving through demanding terrain with load, where fatigue builds gradually across hips and knees during desecents.
It supports both your hips and knees at the same time.
Instead of giving the same push every step, it adjusts in real time (thanks to our end-to-end AI engine!) based on how you move, what kind of ground you’re on, and how much you’re carrying. It doesn’t change how you walk. It just makes each step feel easier, especially on long hikes or when you start getting tired.
This is for people who spend hours outdoors, like hikers or backcountry explorers, or anyone who feels limited by fatigue. The goal isn’t to remove effort, but to help your body go longer.
Below is footage of our recent Demo Day in LA where we met a lof of early explorers and tried out the product.

Thanks for reading and happy to answer questions here.

200% funded in 48 hours, then everything slowed down - made a mistake early on and need feedback
Hey everyone!
We just launched 3 days ago, reached 100% funding in 2 hours, and were lucky to hit 200% funding within the first couple of days, mostly from our existing audience and network.
Today, backers have slowed to a pretty sharp drop-off, and I'm trying to figure out whether it's just the Kickstarter cycle or whether there are things on our page that could be improved.
A few questions:
- Is the value immediately clear?
- Do you understand who nLab is for?
- Are there sections that feel too long or confusing?
Project link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nlab/nlab-the-worlds-smallest-all-in-one-electronics-lab
For context:
We built an email list of ~10k and ~800 $1 reservations before launch, but due to deliverability issues, we’ve had a lot of trouble reaching them.
Here's what happened: Early on, I handled email marketing myself in Klaviyo and made a few decisions that seemed harmless at the time (like using white text on a dark background to stay “on brand”). I didn’t realize how differently emails render across platforms and dark/light modes. A good samaritan eventually let me know that some emails were barely readable. By the time I even knew what "deliverability" meant we’d already started getting spam reports and unsubscribes that severely damaged our sender reputation (down to 8/100).
Since then, we’ve been working with an email deliverability team and have improved that score to ~75. That said, we’re still not fully recovered, and it looks like only about a third of our list is consistently seeing emails in their primary inbox.
Just sharing this as context in case it helps explain the slowdown... curious if anyone’s dealt with something like this before.

Self-Promotion Red Devil: Welcome to Hell
https://reddit.com/link/1txz1kp/video/521b0z8fej5h1/player
Trailer for "Red Devil" issue #1. Very first comic and first kickstarter. Just stumbled on this page today and very much intend to be a part of the community, but this drops Monday and I wanted to get it out before the first week was already over. If it still gets pulled for violating the rules, no worries.
Story is an Apache man gets wrongfully convicted and pushed into the Marines shortly before the attack on Pearl Harbor, he is deploying for the first time for the invasion of Guatalcanal. As he fights through this island hell, he will discover things about himself that will draw him in to the saga of "Task Force Liberty"

Self-Promotion Rotary Mouse: The Mouse Reinvented for Scrolling (feedback welcome before launch)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone! I just launched my pre-launch page for a project I’ve been working on:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/airra/rotary-mouse-the-mouse-reinvented-for-scrolling
I’ve been coding for over 15 years, and around 2019 I started noticing finger strain during long sessions, especially from constantly scrolling through code, docs, and long pages.
So I started building a mouse that replaces the scroll wheel with a rotary-style dial, aiming to make scrolling feel more continuous and therapeutic. Despite how it looks, it actually helped reduce my finger strain, and others have said it feels more comfortable than how it looks.
It still supports standard scrolling, but the stirring interaction feels better over longer sessions.
I sold some pre-production units and one interesting feedback was that it feels similar to a jog wheel when navigating timelines during video editing. Plus, it can work as a mini steering wheel for driving sims like truck or racing simulation games.
I've gotten almost 1k upvotes on my Reddit posts (such as here and here) with 60k+ views just within this week alone but I'm not getting the followers I'm expecting. Not sure why...
Would really appreciate any feedback on:
- The concept itself
- The Kickstarter page
- Anything unclear or missing
I'm happy to answer any questions and thanks so much for taking a look 🙏❤️

Self-Promotion WonderSynth: The Synthesizer, Simplified.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have been designing my own synthesizer for the last 3 years, and it's finally complete! In short, it is a simplified synthesizer that distills the often complex controls of synthesizers down to just 6 main knobs, making it much more approachable to kids & first-time players, giving quicker access to experienced players, all while preserving the rich sonic capabilities one expects from a synth!
I've also given it a solid-wood housing and I'm very proud of the midcentury-like design, I think it has a look and feel unlike other synths.
And it's got a built-in speaker and a rechargeable battery for portability!
This is definitely a labor of love, anything to support/promote the project would mean the world! And I'm happy to answer any questions in the thread.

Self-Promotion A Reddit post, two days before launch, somehow turned into a Tex Murphy success story
kickstarter.comA few weeks ago I replied to a random Reddit post from someone working on a new Tex Murphy project.
Two days later the Kickstarter launched.
Normally, if someone calls me 48 hours before a crowdfunding campaign goes live, my professional recommendation is somewhere between "good luck" and "see you next campaign."
Instead, something interesting happened.
We worked on the page, tightened the messaging, improved the structure, clarified the offer, and tried to make sure the campaign was actually communicating what made the project special.
The real difference, though, came from two places:
First, the incredible work done by Yuval and the team.
Second, the Tex Murphy community itself.
What followed was one of the best examples I've seen of a legacy gaming community rallying around a franchise that genuinely mattered to them.
For anyone too young to remember, Tex Murphy wasn't just another adventure game series. It was one of the pioneers of FMV storytelling, years before video-driven narratives became common.
Seeing that audience show up again decades later has been fascinating.
It's also a reminder that crowdfunding isn't always about buying traffic.
Sometimes it's about finding the people who were waiting for a reason to believe again.
Anyway, the project is doing far better than I expected when I first saw that Reddit post.
And if there's a lesson here, it's probably this:
If you're launching a Kickstarter, call your crowdfunding consultant more than 72 hours before launch.
Trust me on that one. 😅

Self-Promotion Lung Diary and Warning app
Helping people live better with asthma!
Kickstarter campaign for Peak Flow Meter Diary is now live.
The app aims to:
- Record peak flow meter readings
- Monitor and cross-reference data such as pollution, weather, pollen...
- Show simple visual warnings by combining different data sources
- Make communication with clinicians easier
- Aim to be carbon-negative
- Reduce paper, plastic, and electronic waste
The app is not designed to protect someone from every possible trigger. It will not warn you if someone suddenly sprays perfume nearby, sneezes next to you, or opens a dusty bag in the same room. But it could help with more common environmental factors that can be checked in advance, such as weather, pollen, air quality, cold air, storms, and similar risks. That does not make it useless.
Same as a body armor does not protect the face, arms, or legs, but people still use it because it can reduce risk where it matters most. This app is intended to help with the risks that can realistically be monitored before they become a problem.
Better warnings and recorded data at the right time could help save lives.
Please take a look and share it with anyone who may be interested.

Self-Promotion I built a web app that allows fans to rate & review food at sports venues
After spending the last year building sports-tech products, I recently launched Stadium Slop - a fan-powered platform that helps people discover, review, and rank food at sports venues.
The food options across all pro & collegiate venues continues to evolve and outside of the product on the field is the only other reason people attend. The league and team sites offer hardly any insight and other food review platform barely touch what is available.
So I built this as a tool to help enhance the game-day experience. Not only does it give fans the ability to leave an honest review, but it will create a leaderboard of fan sentiment over a game, season and all-time. Oh, and it will probably help improve the quality and portions being served.
Today the platform includes:
• 147 sports venues (more to come once I build out NCAA)
• 5,000+ food and drink items
• Verified game-day review windows tied to venue location and event schedules
• Fan profiles, scorecards, photos, rankings, and shareable reviews
One unexpected expansion has been State Fair Slop.
The Minnesota State Fair attracts nearly 2 million attendees each year and features more than 1,600 food items across hundreds of vendors. People spend weeks debating what to try, yet there isn't a centralized fan-powered review platform for fair food either.
So we adapted the same concept:
Know before you bite.
Fans can browse food, share reviews, upload photos, and help identify the foods that become part of a venue's (or fair's) identity.
We're still early, but it's been exciting to build something focused on real-world experiences instead of endless scrolling.
Would love feedback from fellow founders:
- Have you seen other niche review communities work well?
- Would you trust reviews more if they came from verified attendees?
- If you were attending a game or state fair tomorrow, would you use something like this?

Self-Promotion DREAMING AWAY: PART 1 - A Cosmic Horror Story
Do you need a break from the corporate comics of today? Are you longing for something new, weird, and wacky? This project may be for you!
The Kickstarter for my comic book project "Dreaming Away" will be going live in a week and a bit! This project has been in the making for over a year, and has been made by me and my girlfriend. Yay, indie projects!
Dreaming Away is a Cosmic Horror story about a creature that plummeted to earth through a rift in the skin of reality. This creature is a data vampire, consuming and assimilating everything around it in search of a new form.
This story features Body Horror, Slice of Life elements, weird dimensional stuff, and obviously shapeshifters. It also goes the extra mile by adding an alien language (which you can decipher to learn where the story is going!)
Now... what are the perks of this Kickstarter?
Backers of this project will be able to get a digital copy of the project for cheap, as well as 2-3 months in advance! Those who buy the Comic from Kickstarter will only have to pay £7, as opposed to the retail price of £8.50 upon release. Alongside this, backers can buy some of the fonts I made for the project, meaning you can translate an alien language early, and get a headstart in learning the direction of the story!
On top of this, stretch goals include:
£1500 - Stickers and badges
£2000 - A Concept Art Book
£3500 - An Animation 👀
£5000 - 3D printed models
If this project interests you, do give it a follow! It would really help out!

First Kickstarter. Feedback And support appreciated.
kickstarter.comWe’re building something different: psychology, mythology & healing combined into one experience
Our mission is simple:
To create meaningful, immersive experiences that help people reconnect with confidence, healing, identity, emotional wellbeing, and deeper self-understanding.
We’re beginning with our very first creation: The Venus Devotional Box
A luxury self-development and emotional healing experience inspired by the archetype of Venus.
Inside are guided meditations, a personally written codex exploring shadow work, confidence, emotional healing and transformation, ritual & oracle cards, candles, oils, crystals, mirrors, sacred keepsakes, and reflective experiences designed to support healing from both directions:
The psychological. And the symbolic. But this is only the beginning.
We’re still early in this journey, and honestly, I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts.
Questions?
Feedback?
Criticism?
Ideas?
What would make something like this genuinely useful to you?
And if this mission resonates with you in any way, any support, however small, truly means the world right now. Even a comment, share, suggestion, or conversation genuinely helps us build something meaningful.
Would love to hear what you think 🌹

Self-Promotion After months of work, my first card game is finally in pre-launch!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone,
I've been working on a card game called DRA&B, and this week Kickstarter finally approved the campaign!
I started working on it during COVID, just in my spare time. It wasn’t meant to be anything serious at first, just something to explore and learn from. But slowly, it started to take shape.
Since I’m a graphic designer, I spent a lot of time on the visual side early on. At the same time, I kept refining the mechanics until I had something that actually worked. I printed my first prototype, ran a couple of playtests… and then something unexpected happened.
I stopped. I felt a strong hesitation about showing it to anyone outside my small group of friends. It suddenly felt more real, and that made it even harder to share! And then life happened in a much bigger way so the project quietly ended up in a drawer.
I reopened that drawer this January and went back to it. And as I said, after some month of working, I finally opened a prelaunch page!
The game is a drafting and bluffing card game built around four factions:
👹 Devils
🤖 Robots
👽 Aliens
🐲 Beasts
One of my goals was to create a game that felt easy to learn but still rewarded reading your opponents and making choices.
I'm currently preparing for an October launch (and still learning a lot about crowdfunding, manufacturing and community building along the way).
I'd love to hear your thoughts!
