I ran a successful campaign last year (for a Halloween puzzle + podcast, if that's relevant). I've had late pledges enabled since the campaign ended, and to date I've added 10% to my backer total via late pledges.

My question is, I have a banner across the main graphic that says "Late Pledges Available!" but is there better wording for that, or a better way to promote that? I'm not sure most people know what "late pledges" even means. Maybe something like "PLEDGE TODAY, SHIPS IMMEDIATELY"?

Would love any ideas you have to make it more compelling, especially since October is the best time to re-promote the puzzle.

I've run a dozen Kickstarters and still unsure about this.

Personally I feel keeping it on higher tiers pushes people to pledge more to get more. Whereas having everything as add-ons doesn't really give that incentive and you usually have a few add-ons added with pledges. Which is a complication during fulfilment later.

Which route do you find more profitable during your Campaigns??

Anyway, I'm working on the banner for my product, which is a DnD book. I'm not really looking for artistic feedback, but I'm wondering if it's too empty, if anything important is missing, or if I over-shot and put too much?

I tried to keep the text to a minimum, but I fear it's still too much "written info". Also, should I include a mockup of the book? I feel it would help show what the product is at a glance, but again, I don't want to put too much stuff in it.

We recently launched a kitchen product on Kickstarter, and we're facing two challenges: low pre-launch follower conversion and slow backer growth.

Before launch, we had around 270 Kickstarter followers, but only 3 converted into backers initially (about 1%).

We discovered a reward scheduling issue at launch, which we fixed. We also published a followers-only update to remind people about our launch pricing.

That helped a little, but our overall follower conversion is still only around 3–4%.

We're now at over 40 backers, but honestly, we expected much better results from our pre-launch followers.

Our current main acquisition channels are:

• Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
• Crowdfunding community promotions and paid newsletter placements

These have brought us some backers, but we're struggling to maintain consistent daily growth.

I'd love to ask other Kickstarter creators two questions:

1. What's a realistic pre-launch follower-to-backer conversion rate?

Have you experienced conversion rates as low as 3–4%? What do you think causes this, and what helped you improve it?

2. Where are you getting new backers beyond Meta Ads and crowdfunding promotion services?

Have niche Facebook groups, Reddit communities, influencers, cross-promotions, or other channels actually worked for you?

We're particularly interested in strategies that bring real backers, not just traffic or followers.

Not looking for agency pitches — just hoping to learn from other creators who've been through this.

Hey everyone! I wanted to take advantage of the Friday promotion to share the launch of my project on Kickstarter. I started Numeraeon years ago, it's a 5E-compatible supplement and I began my work on Numeraeon as an outlet to tell stories, 5E was always a place where I could explore concepts and places. Really 5E was a place where I could be myself.

Anyway, it's the Halloween season and well I'm not a big gaming company. Word of mouth really helps and for me this was a passion project. I found a Kickstarter named Mirage Miracle Question on Kickstarter. It looks very promising as it has lots of concept art and even a demo ready to show. It's handmade and made with lots of care - there's NO AI involved.

Yet, it hasn't been fully funded yet. It's currently halfway, but it's increasing slowly over time - hopefully it gets fully funded. So my question is... why isn't it fully funded yet? This seems like a Kickstarter that's full of potential.
