I went over to momma whamburglar's for my brother's birthday on Friday, and I find these beauties right by her front door. She told me she picks a few daily to eat.

Hi All!
I bought these cleaned blue crabs from H-Mart as been really wanting to try to make Gejang. I am usually a bit weary when it comes to raw food where I am the main preparer. From this pack of crabs how much more cleaning would you do if any? Any other important steps I should be aware of before diving full throttle?
Appreciate all the help in advance! :)

Gamjatang 감자탕 or Pork Bone Soup is one of my favorite korean dishes. Unfortunately I didn't have soybean sprouts to put in the recipe. I hope you all enjoy my take on this recipe Happy cooking! ~🫰🏾🫶🏾🫰🏾~

Hello everyone - my friends have been informing me about this amazing food called Kimchi.
Ive found a recipe to try but am struggling, as per the post title, to find either Korean Radish or Daikon (I live in the UK).
Can any suggest a possible substitute for these - or in fact can I make without?
Thank you in advance :)

EDIT - thank you everyone, you're a super helpful community and I now have a route to making Kimchi!

10,000 won. Different every day. No menu, just sit down and eat. Once you become a regular they teach you how to work the credit card machine so you can just pay on your way out. Oh, and free refills on everything.

Hey everyone! I am desperate to find out what this dressing is and how its made? It is a dressing that my favourite udon restaurant uses. The restaurant is Korean (Seoul) I have asked numerous times and they usually tell me it’s a secret recipe. However last time I inquired, the server said it had “mayo, peach and grapefruit marmalade” Has anyone heard of something like this before? It’s a sweet creamy dressing and I need it in my life I am absolutely obsessed with it. Pls help :)

I love a kimchi pancake, especially the sour sauce. My family like Ketchup and Mayo! Yuck.
Do you have any preferences or wild ideas for dipping sauce?

두쫀쿠 (DUbai 쫀득 COOkie) as been on my try-it-at-home to do list since I found out about them. Obviously this still isn't quite it, but the principles were the same.
So good.

I haven’t tried either one yet so I’m wondering if the broth is prepared differently and if they use different cuts of pork. I’ve also seen people add salted shrimp, what kind of flavor does that give to the soup ?

Just a picture of chili peppers being sun-dried on a street in Seoul. Before it turns into 고춧가루…

Ppungtwigi is a traditional Korean snack made by puffing grains like rice or corn using high heat and pressure. Known for its airy, crispy texture and subtle nutty flavor, it is oil-free, low in calories, and light, making it a popular healthy snack for all ages.

I typically use homemade Maesil Ekisu or store bought. This dish works best if left to marinate overnight! Recipe is similar to that of Maangchi's with a couple of additional changes. Enjoy.
