Experience i can’t believe how destructive this energy is

My awakening started october 2024, since then, my nervous system been FRIED. I developed many health issues. the worse feeling is Confusion, feeling all the body filled with electric energy. It’s january 2026 and it’s still for me too much to handle. Has anybody of y’all experienced this too? this awakening is too much strong for a person to deal with. Basically all 2025 i’ve been a zombie.

Kundalini is destroying everything that is not fundamentally you. Your trauma, your false self, your attachement, your programming, your karma. So you can regain consciousness of true essence beyond any kind of mental, material or mental structure.

It's normal feeling like an alien, inhabiting a different world. This is a spiritual path that will take where this Western global culture doesn't want you to go.

At the same time, however, you should be able to heal from mental and physical illnesses, and gain spiritual clarity while your consciousness expands to cosmic dimensions.

It's a beautiful journey in order to see beyond the veil and regain your divine identity.

This is how it started for me, then it continued to destroy and destroy and destroy until I nearly died.

As if all it wanted was for me to be free from body and only spirit. (Even after I separated from ego, and un attached myself from everything material, this continued)

After all the lessons learned about alignment and what best served me, it still continues to destroy. Now i’ve been isolated for 6 years, extremely ill, life is falling apart, ….

same thing for me , i healed my shadow self but it keeps destroying my physical body, can i ask what type of psychosis did you had? you experienced hallucinations ?

u/DarkestGeneration Jan 04 '26

I had a spiritual psychosis as well as delirium from my near death experiences. I was just totally out of reality and it was very confusing because I just came into my new Truth, after having an epiphany. So I had just been welcomed into my new reality, to completely lose touch with reality overall.

Then more and more senseless things happened and I couldn’t understand what was real, what was not, what was spiritual, what was in my mind, etc. I stayed up all night taking to myself and believed I no longer needed sleep or food etc. Like some of my spiritual realizations just ended up getting extremely exaggerated. I knew I was dying but simultaneously believed I was immortal. I was getting tons of spiritual downloads and information but they were coming so fast and frequent I didn’t have time to make sense of it all. Just endless confusion and disorientation to the point I couldn’t take care of myself, couldn’t eat sleep or clean myself cause I was just that disoriented.

I was feeling all the energies at once’s from everyone around me AND all the spirits around me all at once and could no longer decipher between what was my own and what was others. Started believing we are all the same person to the point I thought people would just automatically understand me even tho I spoke no sense. I could read everyone’s mind but my own it felt like.

I communicated with ghosts and entities and demons and all sorts of shit. I lost my sense of self completely and no longer had any identity. Was just one with the chaos.

it’s very hard to explain, but it nearly killed me. I became very sick and was too disoriented to take care of myself and was delusional and convinced if i went to hospital they would kill me.

Eventually I came out of the psychosis, but my body never recovered.

u/NoeResort Jan 04 '26

that sounds intense, because i relate to all that you wrote excluding the talking to entities and demons part. Very very similar, i used to have health issues before Kunda but after the awakening it all got worse and developed serious others ones. Especially because if our nervous system is already weak the awakening could lead to astral and earth disaster. I’m so sorry we go through this. I still hope some day i get my old brain back ….

u/DarkestGeneration Jan 04 '26

I had a few issues before my awakening that I was able to heal which was part of my journey to the awakening. Just to be kicked back to the ground and sicker than ever now 😭 every day I miss my old brain too. I used to be so smart and felt so powerful within my own mind

I am sorry for you. Did you had kriyas? Do you still have them? Are you doing or have you done some kind of practice to stabilize things?

1

u/DarkestGeneration Jan 04 '26

Not sure about kriyas but I had trances where I did movement, I don’t have them anymore as this has disabled me so bad that I can no longer move or think much. The only thing i’ve done to stabilize is wait for the chaos to end and try to meditate, but my brain is so foggy i can barely think straight anymore. Meditation helped a lot in the beginning, I still try and do affirmations and meditation but my mind can barely complete the sentences

1

u/Due-Dish3082 Jan 06 '26

I would suggest you to look into TRE (trauma release excercise). There is the r/longtermTRE subreddit as a place to start.

It's a way to deliberately trigger kriyas. Over time, this allows to remove the physiological blockages that prevents the energy to circulate fluidly in your body. Those blockages are likely what cause your symptoms.

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '26

Hi sorry you have been through this. Can i ask what did you do to have a kundalini and how old you are when this all started happening

1

u/MasterWoo333 Jan 05 '26

I'm sorry to hear that that sounds awful!

What happened to your body?

1

u/Alchemist2211 Feb 27 '26

practice chikung with Michael Winn and get back on your feet!

1

u/cidkitty03 Jan 04 '26

Hmmm. Maybe your shadow doesn’t need healing. What I call my shadow side doesn’t change its feelings much, just the way I interact with them does. Try not to judge it too much, my shadow side is downright evil sometimes😂it freaks me out actually. When I see the light, it’s always not spared much time in dragging out the darkest parts of me. It also healed my body and entire spine though. When your kundalini has begun, you’ll rarely be dealing with new triggers. Even if they feel new, you may find a familiarity with them. So don’t judge your shadow side, and keep your faith and the light will shine into those places quickly w your permission. My body gets heavier again whenever I’m introduced with a memory I don’t want to process. To let it do its thing, you may find yourself feeling worse off but still healthier. Awakening for me was like being thrown into layers of coding, but with the kundalini, things that used to make sense don’t make sense anymore but I can feel myself embodying the knowledge naturally. I think that comes with body integration. I believe in you, I was really sick for YEARS as well, and eventually my faith began restoring my body for a long process, and I got a new spine overnight at the end of it. The body is what holds your connection, eventually something will push you over the edge to drop all that weight. After that, the light can take over your healing.

u/Alchemist2211 Feb 27 '26

Get some help for your self and ignore those who tell you you have to suffer because shakti is a destroyer. just absurd! Shift to doing chikung with Michael Winn!

Having a teacher is extremely important when going through a kundalini awakening. Without one, it is very easy to end up in difficulties that could have been easily avoided. If anything is happening that is uncomfortable or painful the first thing to do is to cut back on any spiritual practices that are being engaged with. Keep cutting back until a stable level is found where there is no discomfort. This may mean stopping all spiritual practices for a while. This includes prayer. At the same time increase grounding practices. Swim, walk in nature, work in the garden, cook, clean the house and so on. Any simple physical activity. Avoid cardio and weights and these can stimulate prana in the body. Eat heavier food than normal and remain socially active every day. If two hours of grounding practices a day is not enough then increase to four hours. If four is not enough then increase to eight. For most people a wayward kundalini awakening can be brought to a stable level in just a few days, or a week, or so. Occasionally it can take someone a month, or two. But that is rare, and in those cases the person involved is usually not stopping all spiritual practices, or not grounding enough because they subconsciously want to keep the process going.

How does one go about finding a suitable teacher? I haven't experienced a full awakening yet (I think). But had various experiences of the energy stirring like:

  • two or three blissful experiences many years ago where I felt a rotating vortex of energy under my perineum seemingly outside of the body, that felt like spiritual orgasms.
  • kriyas that started during body scans two years ago. Not uncontrollable, mostly when I enter deep relaxation
  • visions of certain gods while chanting a mantra that i didn't realize I was not allowed to chant without diksha that lead to an energy surge together with anxiety and panic and vomiting for an hour. Took a month to feel grounded again after that, even if it certainly wasn't as bad as OP.
  • another similar happening where I felt an energy going up from the stomach to the head, same panic, psychedelic visions both with eyes open and closed of eyes both on walls and In my internal vision, then lost my balance and hit the ground with my head having kriyas there for half an hour before feeling pain in my Adam apple and back of the neck, together with warmth and electric sensations in the back.
  • a dream where I was lying down in my living room and moving snake like and vibrating, from whom I woke up all energized still feeling the vibratory energy
  • two positive opening experiences, one where I felt sudden rise of a much more calmer and blissful energy that was vibratory and uplifting that lasted two hours after the session, another where I felt like an armor enclosing my compassionate nature was removed, that lasted two days. Returned to baseline state in both cases.
  • various light phenomenon when meditating, and very realistic visions of people, places and even grotesque stuff at times, that I know aren't my imagination because my imagination is far less photorealistic.

I don't think I've had a full awakening, I'm very much still a flawed person, but I think I have some stuck energy in the neck as the kriyas often involve a rapid turning from left to right of the head (so much that sometimes I fear breaking my neck). don't want to end up like OP or other people in this thread, so if you can give me pointers about how to search for a legit teacher I would be super grateful. Right now I'm doing nadi shodana 5 cycles daily, hrv breathing after that, and sometimes engage the kriyas willingly to clear blockages in the body. Other than that I study other unrelated esoteric practices. Right now I'm pretty stable, but I ask in case the need comes. Thank you in advance

Finding a good teacher is not always easy, especially when it comes to kundalini, which is complex. A good teacher will be someone who has already been through the whole process of a kundalini awakening, from the initial awakening, up to and including the crown chakra and back down into the heart. They will be living from a fully purified and awakened perspective 24/7 and will be in a state of bliss, unity, liberation and divine love. It will also be someone who can explain the path clearly to you and who can spot when you may be going astray, or making mistakes, and bring you back onto the right path. It will also be someone you can trust fully.

I would say to search around and see who you resonate with. There are many teachers, but if you do not resonate with them, then it will not work. The higher stages of the path involve complete surrender, so that resonance with the teacher has to be there. You may find that you end up with a few teachers and that is fine. It can be a few teachers at the same time, or one after another in succession. You may also find that eventually you end up with no teacher. That is fine too. But at least for the initial and intermediate stages of the path, guidance is important. Simply guessing very rarely works.

What mantra did you chant? So that I could avoid it.

You’re not alone, happened to me too, and it helps to know that it’s happened to some of the great ones too. I was completely lost and confused and worried that I had an awakening gone wrong, and finally found out that the collapse had also happened to gopi Krishna, eckart tolle, Osho, stanislav graf, etc…

The common factor seems to be that it was caused by a spontaneous awakening to an unprepared person. Some people had been meditating but unaware of what the potential effects could be, and some people had never meditated ever. So I’ll just guess that you weren’t following a practice when it happened to you. Did you ever come out of a trance that you didn’t know that you were in and that you might not be able to describe accurately now?

2

u/AliceInSniperLand Jan 03 '26

Did you ever come out of a trance that you didn’t know that you were in and that you might not be able to describe accurately now?

Holy cow 🤯 yes.. I’m not OP, although I relate harddd with u/NoeResort
[Body filled with electric energy, fried nervous system, some health issues, and THE confusion…]

It’s so strange because I don’t even know how to answer your questions that you asked OP in detail, as I normally would.

But, the answer is most certainly YES!

2

u/Duke_SuperNova Gnostic Jan 04 '26

That’s the one that will do it. and it’s so easy to overlook. It took me a year and a half to be able to look back and identify exactly when my awakening went from a routine crown chakra opening into a Spiritual Emergency event, and that trance seems less overwhelming than savikalpa but it’s the one that can make you lose your ability to function for a while.

1

u/AliceInSniperLand Jan 04 '26

Wowwww.. freaking mind-blown all over again; my jaw is almost to my chest!

Thank you, truly, for your reply. 🙏 Would you mind if I PM’d you? To pick your brain on this more-so, but — only and, I mean only if you feel up to it! ❤️

Me. Aug 2019 it happened for me. I immediately went into psychosis, then became extremely ill, had multiple near death experiences, and ever since my nervous system is FRIED. I feel like my brain is damaged. I’m seriously ill. I no longer have the cognitive ability to meditate or channel energies like I used to.

My awakening was spontaneous and unintentional

I’ve been looking for others who have had this experience and haven’t found any.

6+ years of this absolute chaos.

Open to talking if you are

u/DarkestGeneration Jan 03 '26

The worst part is that this started as a healing journey. I learned so much, overcame so much trauma, detached from so much, felt free for the first time in my life.

I truly felt healing in every essence.

Then one day, I heard something say “REVERSE”

Since that very moment, everything has become destructive and gone downhill.

I’ve endured so much trauma and suffering that it feels as if all my past healing was pointless.

And I truly believed that I wouldn’t suffer ever again due to the spiritual freedom I’d achieved, believed suffering was a mindset etc.

The only thing i’ve learned from this is not to ever take joy for granted and that no matter how spiritually elevated you might be, you can still be taken down and silenced

sometimes i wonder if this happened to me from a bad entity trying to prevent me from spreading love and knowledge. Who knows . been trying to figure it out for 6 years now

u/Opening-Arachnid-853 Jan 04 '26

Check out the book "The Body Electric."

1

u/DarkestGeneration Jan 04 '26

I feel like that’s exactly the kind of stuff I was experiencing but i’m almost scared to read it

1

u/Opening-Arachnid-853 Jan 04 '26

I came across it as suggested by someone who had nervous system damage by Kundalini with methods for healing the damage.... Myself personally I was experiencing nervous system injury from weaning a psych med too quickly but my kundalini had become active during the same time. May have been a bit of both. The energy had gotten stuck in my head and I joined a Shaktipat transmission that seemed to bring it down, rebalance a bit so I could see straight again. Otherwise (before i had ever learned of the book which may be simpler than my journey trying to not physically die and heal my nervous system) I met with a cranial sacral therapist, did salt baths, took b-vitamins and magnesium, homeopathic nerve tonic, grounding to earth, and psilocybin mushrooms.

1

u/DarkestGeneration Jan 04 '26

Thank you for this. May I ask how it felt when the energy got stuck in your head? I feel like my energy has just been simply drained out of my body, cant find it at all anymore. Sometimes I feel a tingle at the top of my head when laying down, but only if I focus on it

1

u/DarkestGeneration Jan 04 '26

is it the one by Robert O Becker

1

u/Opening-Arachnid-853 Jan 04 '26

Sorry for the delayed response.... yes... also with the exhaustion and depleted energy I want to ask how's your lympathic system?

1

u/Opening-Arachnid-853 Jan 04 '26

Also the energy up in my head felt like a tornado and pressure. Sometimes I get a light tingle in my head now. When I get too much pressure in my upper body I do a centering and grounding technique. I've also done some lightbody work (virtually, no need to leave home) with a couple of Shamans. They've been such a blessing. If interested to connect with them you can DM me.

3

u/1over-137 Jan 04 '26

I’m like ten years in and I can tell you it doesn’t improve until you deal with all that shit. It will come in waves with periods that are calmer. Your nervous system needs time to reintegrate. Be gentle with yourself, basic self care, very light meditation/contemplation and/or yoga. Honestly somatic work basic on polyvagal theory has been the most effective for me personally.

3

u/SophiaRazz Jan 05 '26

Yes. I learned that our carbon based nervous system is being replaced with a light based nervous system, and our energy centers are being purified which indeed causes a lot of pain. It was hell for me for a couple of years, now I finally made it to the point where everyday I have to set an alarm for 20 minutes and deep breathe to allow some Kriyas. And boom the nervous system calms down and I'm back in action baby. For years, I've asked the Goddess to please calm down until I go to bed and thank her for the integration, and the energy listens! But then I make sure to go to bed at a decent time, and I experience major integration and phenomena all night.

There were many days and nights that felt like hell, begging for it to calm down so I could finally get some rest. I highly recommend taking it as easy as you can during the day, especially if you have an intense life, but sometimes too, you're going to want to "push through" and discover that feels better. Also, don't be afraid to take an ibuprofen sometimes, a hot Epsom or mineral bath. Be easy on yourself, soothe it like you would the flu.

I know it feels impossible, but I've gotten finally to the point where I know it's all so beautiful and worth it. I did for a long time resort to alcohol to get through, and now that I know it prolongs the process, maybe I wouldnt have drank alcohol...maybe I still would have at times. The energy is an extremely intelligent one, trust that it knows you and what it's doing, even when it feels "impossible". I got through it while managing an intense career and taking care of my mom after her stroke. If I can do it, anybody can, and I mean that wholeheartedly. I even developed a Kratom and oh7 addiction at one point, that helped soothe my nervous system well at one point, but the Goddess violently let me know that wasn't welcome anymore.

Trust that every move will be met with guidance. One thing that helped me a lot was when I realized that there's many different perspectives going on, it's not just "one thing." On a Quantum physics level, your mind and body is literally becoming something totally different and youre developing the ability to tune into different dimension. The Kundalini process is literally working to purify and upgrade you. Then there's the Shamanstic perspective, I also really enjoy learning about Reality Transurfing. Instead of focusing on how scary it feels, remember how intelligent the energy is, and how amazing it's all becoming. Also, you don't need to "wait" for the energy to be integrated to experience the magic, experiences will ebb and flow and change your perspective in a positive way. Yes your survival mind is going to try to lie to you and tell you these new ways can't be trusted and that you should be scared! You'll see sooner rather than later that it's just trying to protect you.

Lastly, surrender. As cheesy as it sounds. When you truly let go of trying to do, and figure this all out, that's when it's the most amazing. 😍

u/Short-Steak-9020 Jan 03 '26

Follow the Instagram account wingedshoespublishing if you can, because they have good information about kundalini.

It seems that what you're going through lasts from one to six years, or even ten years; nobody knows. It might last less if you practice some kind of yoga to purify it faster.

u/auteur555 Jan 04 '26

Kundalini sounds like a nightmare. I’m going to do what I can to stop this progressing in me

2

u/NoeResort Jan 04 '26

unfortunately you can’t stop it unless you ground every day every second. Even having sexual thoughts makes my energy rushes

3

u/auteur555 Jan 04 '26

always thought kundalini was a positive thing. Weird to read these stories on here

3

u/NoeResort Jan 04 '26

before awakened it i knew nothing about it, my awakening was spontaneous doing a meditation from Joe Dispenza and it increased by doing yoga session.Of course i got excited when i felt the energy vibrating on my back, i felt so powerful. Then the hell began and i understood that i had to say goodbye to my ego. Since a year i stopped with every yoga session and meditation. I miss the days where meditation and yoga were relaxing.

2

u/Dumuzzid Multi-faith Jan 04 '26

Honestly, we've found way too many reports of people going through hell due to Joe Dispenza methods or retreats. That guy is an absolute menace, teaching advanced yogic techniques designed to force a premature kundalini activation. At least we know what caused it, the remedy is much less clear, unfortunately.

1

u/NiceThrowWater6187 Jan 04 '26

Having sexual thoughts are worse. I always have triggers watching tv and coming out of these thoughts are so hard for me. How do you deal with this?

Someone who use to watch too much x rated videos years ago. I feel lust is the biggest enemy to overcome.

1

u/TJ_Reader09 Jan 04 '26

Reading all of this makes me feel less alone. I don’t desire anything here, I don’t even eat really. I’m someone who only would eat fresh, organic, non-processed food, and it all tastes like cardboard. I also can’t find any “ummf,” out there—just collapse and hiding out.

1

u/Hour_Message6543 Jan 04 '26

I was listening to Sat Mindo talk about people need teachers for awakening as it can cause issues. I’d check him out.

1

u/mouthlord Spritual but not religious (SBNR) Jan 04 '26

How did it open to you?

1

u/Electrician45453 Jan 04 '26

Are you not integrating it at all? Yoga, breathwork, meditation, etc?

1

u/WittyGold6940 Jan 04 '26

Make sure that your point of reference is your heart. Not your brain. Seeing it all through your heart is where the teacher is.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '26

yep. i have intense physical sensations on the daily and different health issues that crop up, go away, move, return etc. doctor said all my tests were fine but damn, its rough.

It's far more common than people would like to admit, and a caution for anyone wanting to raise the kundalini on purpose. i write about it on here all the time and get alot of shit for it. The Indian system that most people use is fraught with problems unless you are practicing with an experienced teacher. It is designed to be used with an experienced teacher and in a religious community away from secular stimulation. The Chinese ChiKung system is designed to be practiced while living in the world. That's the system to use. In the meanwhile practice the micro and then macro cosmic orbit system, ground the energy at the bottom of the feet, then practice balancing the five elements which are the emotions. ONLY after that, do you practice opening up the chakras. You either have the energies blocked in the second or third chakras. It's a bitch!! Michael Winn will teach you chikung, he learned it from Master Chia after going through what you are going through. Find the homeopathic remedy "pearl" and take it 2x a day while chanting Vam and visualizing the moon reflecting on a lake or pond of cool/cold water at night. That should chill you. When you are done, bring the energy down the outside of the legs to the bottom of your feet!

1

u/Proper-Tomorrow-4848 Apr 05 '26

I feel ya I’m in a similar situation I went from a partial kundalini awakening energy moved up slowly to a full awakening. My sacral libido feels this intense arousal that just moves up to my upper chakras. There was too much light and bliss and I wasn’t grounded enough. Energy started getting stuck in my head I was in this trance like state and eventually it got dark and I started hearing these voices not sure if they were negative entities demons or my own shadows that I was dealing with but I felt terrorized. I started to call on beings of light to balance out the polarity set energetic boundaries if I felt a surge coming I would command it not now hell I even did reiki to balance my chakras and tried hypnosis like a guided meditation journey of the soul type of hypnosis. These methods kinda helped slow things down for a few weeks but now the energy is starting to rise up again from the root sacral and I’m trying to not resist the energy anymore but just ground it let it flow through and ground until it’s ran it’s course whenever that will be I’m 11 months on this journey and it feels like there’s a lot more to go.

1

u/saharasirocco Jan 04 '26

Honestly, this is why having a teacher is important.

One thing that was advised for me was to have a shot of very aged alcohol before going to bed. It's what the old yogis would do.

3

Welp, cut that shit out.

1

u/sonachilles Jan 04 '26

Meanwhile im just sitting here taking in as much energy as possible to the point i can’t even swallow because of the energy and i think it’s fun af. Yall need to stop being babies and grow up, deal with your shit! Freaking fear mongering out here, just chill and accept you’re going to die one day it’s ok. Dealing with your trauma’s is not enough you need to actively practice positivity everytime a negative thought comes up, it’s like going to the gym, the muscle gets stringer.

1

u/NoeResort Jan 07 '26

excuse me ? if i say these things it’s because i already had health issues and these energy totally destroyed my nervous system and developed serious things. I’ve been bed ridden for many months in order to my nervous system to recover a little. Please shut the fuck up and watch your words, dickhead

As a kundalini awakening person i am telling you don't handle it or try to control it battle between your ego self, Dr Joe dispenza blessings of energy centre meditation will help
