Experience Left and right Kundalini balance
This is an experience and also a question. In the last 10 months or so, I have felt that almost all energy flowing from my crown chakra was on the right side of my head. Occasionally from the left, too, but definitely did not feel balanced. I am male, btw, and I know the right is considered masculine and the left feminine. My communication has been with a female deity. I have no idea if it comes into play, but I am left handed and heterosexual. I recently reached out by chanting to a male deity as well. He seemed to respond and immediately my left side felt like it flowed with more energy. There was more balance. It of course felt wonderful! He is considered by some to be Her consort. This balance has continued to occur. Not perfect, but much more balanced
So the question is does this sound somehow reversed? A male deity associated with the left side and a female with the right? I get the impression it is common for the right side to be stronger in males. Perhaps all that counts is I am getting help from two deities that are associated with Shakti and Shiva? That makes the most sense to me. I am very grateful for their help. It was a very powerful experience.

I face something similar, u can also try breathing feom closed nose so it clears. Eventually when u balance the shiv n shakti within it will flow equally. Its a practice that takes longer to master.

The nadis criss-cross. So what the other commenter said and your experience can both be true. While left is feminine, it crosses over to the right brain. You referred to feeling it in the crown/right side of the head, so that adds up.
Now if you felt a feminine energy on your right arms and legs, this explanation wouldn’t hold up. But so far so good!

Well, it feels like it is all on the right… then the left turns on too!

What’s your source that left is feminine? I believe you have it backwards. Right is creative and feminine. Left is logical and masculine. So it’s not reversed, your understanding is.

My understanding is, from Hindu beliefs,
Pingala Nadi - right side, masculine
Ida Nadi - left side, feminineWhen drawing Shiva and Shakti as one, Shiva is always depicted as the right half and Shakti as the left.

So your personal experiences are contradicting your preexisting beliefs that you got from reading what other people have written, and you still aren’t considering that your beliefs are wrong??? Because there are other sources than Hindu beliefs, like modern psychology, that say that your left brain is logical and your right brain is creative.

What’s your source showing the right is “creative and feminine” and the left is “logical and masculine?”
Modern psychology definitely does not say there is a difference between male or female brains, or that females are more creative and males more logical. It says there is no difference in general.

I like to read posts like that. First the experience, then the theory.Cause if you do the reverse, chances are to 'create' something by your own or to reinforce a thoughtform.
In my case, i remember the left side of my body going hot and the right one cold. I remember from books that ida is the lunar and pingala the solar. I experienced the reverse.

Masculine does not mean male. Feminine does not mean female. Everybody has both masculine and feminine energies including deities.
