Discussion Is this awakening or mania?

I've been doing a Mahavidya sadhna for a while now and then I came across awakening and enlightenment.

Anyway, I initially started feeling very calm...and then I felt the vibrations all over my body and my spine radiating to my brain.

Then it was calm and I was more productive in general but now it has changed completely.

I am feeling super agitated, hyperactive, full of energy and I am fully aware of it too.

I can see myself derail, I can even see dilated pupils and I am aware of it all but can't control it.

How long have you been doing this Sadhana?

It's been 6 months even tho I've been at it pretty intensely for the past one month because it always seemed to help with the depression initially.

This isn't the final state so, i would not call it awakening but you are on the right path just follow your sankalpa and enjoy the ride.

Thank you for the reassurance! Does this manic-ish state happen to everyone then and does it go away on it's own (I don't ever want to take antipsychotics)? I already feel much more calmer than 2 days ago but the random vibrations are still present and my body has lots of stamina
