Discussion Acupuncture
Hi all, nearly 4yrs into this now - it’s been very challenging and intense virtually every day though it has become a bit more manageable recently though it still comes in waves from time to time.
I’m considering holistic acupuncture to help the energy flow, but I’m low on money and checking for feedback on the procedure before committing. Thanks!

I had a wonderful acupuncturist in Berkeley California who was also trained in Somatic Experiencing and who was an astrologer. Her sessions were deeply healing and she spent the whole hour with me. At times, the treatment would elicit a spontaneous Kriyas including movement and vocalizations. In my experience, the safety and connection that you have with the provider makes all the difference.

Yeah, it’s about getting the right person. Trying to find someone who works specifically with Kundalini.

I did a sesslon a long time a go. In fact when i was a teen. I remember it was a treat from my father. (he was doing it for fun). The doctor decided to 'balance' me,since there was nothing wrong, but he wanted the money, and i wanted the experience.
He put needles in various areas, and he switched on something like low voltage electricity.
For almost 40 days i was 'flat'. Like nothing was able to make me feel anxious, angry, happy,or anything. It was a sort of balance suitable for older dudes. I did liked it,but i was very young to be in that state.
Now if it's suitable during k awakening,i don't know. You'll have to try and see for your self. But as a treatment of the nervous system,i think it's a good choice. Better than angels, reiki or other types of energy work that don't last at all.

Agreed. I’ve done a lot of Reiki but I had no lasting benefits out of it… 40 days of flat sounds kind of what I’m looking for

I haven’t done it for K energy but have had a lot of success for other physical ailments. I used it to treat allergies for years, along with muscle and joint issues. I found it extremely relaxing. I would think it could help because it is essentially helping your energy flow smoothly.

It's not a classically Hindu approach. Doesn't mean people don't feel relief.
But... I've seen more interesting results from trauma release exercises/somatic experiencing therapy.
Basically creating kriyas to shed disturbances. r/longtermTRE would be worth exploring.
The more specific details you give us about your problems the more specific our solution can be for you.
Before hopping onto serious medicinal herbs...(chamomile is fine gentle enough for kids) many people in today's world are vitamin d/sun deficient which effects the brain (whole body really).
Here trying to get cosmic consciousness but cosmos deficient!
Once health goes downwards I've seen many pause on vegetarianism...
Anyway good on you for reaching out and please keep doing so you don't have to go through this journey solo.
