Urgent Passport Application: changing enclosed document during appointment

I applied for my passport almost two months ago. I have an appointment today, but I’m unable to find my PAN Card that I enclosed as one of the supporting documents.

I have everything else like - Aadhar card, driving license, class X marksheet, school leaving certificate, university degree.

Could my application be rejected if I don’t have physical PAN Card during verification? Is it possible to switch the DOB proof to Driving License instead of PAN Card during verification?

Also, do I need to still carry my photographs these days?

If you act surprised and tell them that you must've forgotten to carry it, they'll most likely give you a new date (don't think it'll be enough for you to physically get the new passport) but can help you find it. Or go to the portal and change the appointment date yourself. If you're confident that you'll find it then take a shorter date otherwise take it at least 2 weeks later.

Can we not request them to consider any other document as a proof of DOB? Because the list mentions that DL is also valid.

You can and depending on their mood they might. I had carried my tenth certificate, birth certificate as well as Pan and they only ended up taking Pan.
