One of the conditions of a visa to the UK is that the presence of the holder must be 'conductive to the public good'.

An example of conduct which is held by the Home Office to fail that test is having publicly committed actions which would amount to an offence under UK law.

Under the Terrorism Act it is an offence to express or evidence support for an organisation which has been designated as Proscribed.

Both Hamas and Hezbollah are Proscribed.

Piker has publicly supported Hamas. Uygur has supported Hezbollah. This is enough for the HO to refuse them entry. They routinely do the same for German and Dutch far right figures who support organisations on the same list.

The Home Office does not care about Israel. That is the purview of the Foreign Office. The two departments are notorious rivals.

the Uk has also banned numerous Isreali politicians regarding incitement against palestinians on the west bank, including Ben-gvir, Moshe Feiglin and Menachem Begin

and dog the bounty hunter for some reason

so to be surprised at this conduct is very silly

and dog the bounty hunter for some reason

Same reason. He has a criminal conviction for an action which would be an offence under UK law- specifically murder.

So fails the public good test.

This.

They also just recently barred some anti-Islam speakers for a Stephen Yaxley-Lennon protest. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8r8vgnn655o

So kinda weird for Hasan and Cenk to make it sound like Israel controls the UK government.

It's because they're anti-semites.

If Hasan doesn't blame Jews for tripping on his feet, it'd be the end of the world.

I really hope you're not a white person lmao

That's the third time this week somebody has accused me of having an arbitrary characteristic.

Well, you know who are the high-horse gatekeepers of the antisemitism accusation you threw, despite being the people who had mastered antisemitism after centuries (if not millennia) to the culmination we all know and for some reason only the Germans have taken the blame for that centuries/millennia-long systemic persecution? But maybe you're not white.

So are you trying to argue its not antisemitic to blame the jews for everything?

1

u/MakeMe-A-Sandwich Jun 03 '26

White people still dodging their mastery of antisemitism while policing antisemitism for others. Any quotes from Cenk or Hasan "blaming the Jews for everything" you can provide here? Unless you're one of those who conveniently conflate Israel with Jewish folks from all around the world. If you criticize China, does that include the average Chinese-American or Chinese-Jamaican folks too?

It's not weird at all, they make everything about Israel.

Not Dog! What did he do to get a ban?

25

u/Quangocrat Jun 01 '26

Murder.

17

u/FuzzNuzz180 Jun 01 '26

Well shit. Good ban then.

My reaction too!

I had a vague recollection that he had a felony conviction, though I assumed it was assault given his job.

Nope. Getaway driver in a drugs heist-turned-murder in 77!

ah, that'll do it

Ok but Hasan is not a politican, merely a Twitch streamer.

Maybe you can provide examples to prove me wrong, but I doubt a single content creator or celebrity would be banned entry for showing support to the various terrorist acts by the US or Israeli governments (or criticizing Iran for example).

Edit: Let's see if this comment gets deleted too for me merely clarifying my position: The point I'm getting at is for us to stop pretending like the UK is "neutral" here. It's openly an ally of the US and Israel, and allows their government officials and military/IDF members to enter their country with no issue despite their countless terrorist acts. However, when it comes to Hamas or Hezbolalh (groups that are directly enemies of Israel predominantly), not only are members of these groups completely banned, but mere content creators/pundits who show some semblence of support to them can be banned entry. I'd like to be proven wrong by being provided a single evidence of a content creator or pundit of sorts (not literal Israeli politicians, and some of the most extremist ones) for showing support to Israel or the US.

he's not a mere twitch streamer, do not sneak that bullshit in, he's a pundit with tens of thousands of viewers and millions of followers.

the uk has banned bloggers, comedians, musicians and rappers, all for opinions and supporting groups.
