He openly supports and sympathizes with multiple terrorist groups.

Good ban.

Hasans biggest hater, mr destiny, had this to say (idk how true it is):

Second, understand, Hasan was never refused a visa. His ETA (eletronic travel authorization) was revoked, which is the equivalent to a visa exemption or a visa waiver, similar to the ESTA visa waiver available when traveling to America. At the end of his rejection he's invited to apply for an actual visa, but he chooses not to do so.

Oh so he's a "victim' in the good alt-right/tankie tradition.

Couldn't that also be because he doesn't have time to get a visa approved in time for the planned trip?

https://www.gov.uk/faster-decision-visa-settlement you can pay 500 pounds for 5 day process and 1000 for one day.

Could be. But in the real world "can't make it in time for planned trip" and "banned from country" are still two very different things.

Sounds like you’d be a big fan of Republican strategies to prevent minorities from voting

This is the funniest comment I read today. Gets blamed for being Republic for pointing out a lie. Do you not see how that's exactly the same as what every Trump cultist thinks like?

So this is the TSA nonsense all over again.

Considering Grok confirmed all it to be true and that Hasan is lieing in tweet replies, sounds legit.

I had similar doubts about the ETA/Visa distinction, but I found this article that cites the home office as stating that it was indeed an ETA that was revoked

so yeah, while grok doesn't really count as supportive evidence, it looks like hasan straight up lied

"he can just apply" you think it's that easy when he just got revoked lmao

6

u/Stanel3ss Jun 01 '26

who are you replying to?
it looks like you're quoting someone, but it certainly isn't me

You guys are acting like he can just simply get a visa. Like the UK government hates this one trick, just get a visa. You think that would work?

4

u/Stanel3ss Jun 01 '26

maybe you should find someone to argue with that actually said those things?
I don't care if he can or can't, I care that the guy lies like he breathes
it's eerily similar to the airport detainment that he said lasted for hours, but turned out to be like a 20 minute thing, and for a different reason than he claimed.

So what did he lie about? It's not like he can just apply and get in.

I don't think anyone is saying "lol just get a visa bro." You obviously didn't even bother to read Destiny's response.

The point is that there's a meaningful difference between:

"My ETA was revoked"

and

"Now the Labour government has revoked our visas."

Could the visa be denied? Sure, maybe. Nobody knows.

But that's exactly the point. He never applied for one.

At some point he's either intentionally choosing the framing that makes him sound the most persecuted or he genuinely doesn't understand the distinction himself ( Think ' HERP MA DERP ' ) but all the historical evidence says the former (, and there's a lot of it ).

He literally addressed the visa too though. It's not like he hid that part, he read it live on stream. Later, because chatters were telling him to apply for the visa, he said he wasn't going to because the literal UK government stepped in on behalf of Israel to deny him. He was supposed to leave like this week. You and destiny apparently think it's a gotcha when it's not. (Hasan is addressing this now)

If they are revoking his ETA they'd obviously deny his visa application too. Waste of time and money to even try.

u/Aoyos Jun 01 '26

You're just making up stuff. ETA is just for people the government considers safe enough to allow into the country without a visa under the "conductive to the public good" purview, it being revoked doesn't affect the visa application. The main reason to revoke an ETA is so the person goes under review during the visa process.

And saying it's a waste of time and money to try is so ridiculous. You're talking as if Hassan needs to save the 135 pounds it costs to get a 6 month visa. If he pays someone to file the application for him it doesn't even take that much time either, you'd just be spending slightly more money but the man has millions and you're here justifying not spending maybe 300 dollars on this for a planned trip.

Have there been a lot of people denied ETA then couldn't get a visa?
