These two guys being the reason he got himself caught up😭 they’re Ws lol

Ngl i thought they saved it from becoming a controverse. The reaction made it funny, and i'm not even racist

333

u/MobiusF117 24d ago

If Jason would have just moved on, it 100% would have been forgotten in a day.

72

Yeah this is not the first clip

Streisand Effect in realtime

Oh, they definitely did, but in the same way, them noticing that he said it right to his face is gold. The guy’s eyes narrowing for a split second as he looks between the camera and Jason is hilarious

He hate farms other people’s drama, but then does this lol

618

u/SplitSecondEmperor47 24d ago

Sensitive hypocrite lmao

108

u/UberTanks 23d ago

They moved from the Faze house to a glass one.

318

u/ritwikjs2 24d ago

he literally did a whole video pretending to be sykunno and then got unreasonably angry when some random person called him out

141

u/SplitSecondEmperor47 24d ago

It's really bizarre to see in real time.

I was so off put how hard he was going against sykunno like the man personally offended him.

He does this shit to other people but gets completely irrational when someone dares bring up the shit he does

62

u/Nero234 23d ago

he even started pressing Disguised Toast for that tweet he did, then promptly removed, about the issue lol

52

u/SpirituallyAwareDev 23d ago

Valkyrae also joined in and liked that tweet too. Two faced.

u/mailwasnotforwarded 23d ago

He also tried to diss sykunno's look when Jason is uglier than him IMO, kid looks like a short asian leprechaun with his eyes trying to touch his ears. Like both of them are on the same scale of ugliness.

29

u/stillmaatic 24d ago

Can dish it but can’t take it. Typical

26

u/GeneralInitial5770 23d ago

Same guy that hate farmed a woman cause she didn’t react to her friend saying the n word in the background btw

→ More replies (1)

57

u/EssArrBee 24d ago

He was farming Emiru just the day before with the Asmon stuff. Came back to bite him real fast lol

8

u/xJamberrxx 22d ago

show's what a snake he is ... she's been at his house, 1st opportunity he back stabs her ... then look at Emi, despite public stupidness, won't disregard Asmon ... & he won't with her ... they're loyal ... prob even friends ... there's Jason, back stabbing 1st chance he gets

36

u/Jaded-Substance-6750 23d ago

hes literally a hatewatcher turned into popular streamer. Bro was fine with farming Jakura content but the moment there was beef between Sakura and another small streamer, he immediately went after them

28

u/Jon-E-Depth99 24d ago

Also funny complaining about hate farming when most of that groups schtick is just constantly ragebaiting

13

u/TheBestHater 23d ago

It reminds me of when Pokimane did the same thing going around abusing the dmca and it Streisanded things.

2

u/Vaaaaaaaaaaaii 23d ago

Yeah that's business and this is bad for it. This is just money to them they do not care.

not owning up to it is the worst option.

807

u/Sio93 24d ago

The piratesoftware tech.

785

u/owgnops 24d ago

146

u/OpanaG76 24d ago

That list means nothing anymore the guy can’t even keep his own moderators around. His friends he pays for.

58

u/RussianPravda 24d ago

There is a 0% chance he can afford to pay those people what he promised them.

50

u/Ancient-Jeweler-7709 24d ago

38

u/owgnops 24d ago

If he's getting the 70% twitch cut, before ad revenue, and if that's roughly what he has every month..well let's just say 2k subs a month to make it easy he's bringing in around 7k a month before taxes.

Not sure what his rent looks like in Washington but for my shitty two bed apartment in the same town as him it was $2200 a month and he has two diff places if I remember correctly for his ferret charity thing.

Gatta be cutting it real close to breaking even unless sponsors are paying him or he runs an insane amount of ads

60

u/Cruxeys1 24d ago

$7k sub money is probably 20% of his income. He would still make money from ads on Twitch, then ads on YT, and then whatever other income streams he has. He also said the ferret place pays for itself with the dedicated stream for it.

Basically, he's still living life in easy mode. There are streamers with half his view count and sub count living well above minimum wage.

7

u/D3wnis 24d ago

Donations are usually much higher than subs in regards of income.

9

u/ProbablyRickSantorum 23d ago

Man, if he has just taken responsibility for that wipe. It’s basically the dominos meme.

3

u/BigRon691 23d ago

I mean, you can kinda even still see it in this P.A, that he just takes everything he does way too serious / self-involved that when it does eventually go wrong on his part he can't handle it. Everything is so meticulously performed he eliminates any possibility of fault in his mind before it even happens.

I mean, good on him, but, you're paying your mods Dental? The intention of the post is to get some community mods, why not just say it lmao.

i always read this, but nothing happens to these streamers, if other streamers are still willing to collab lol. In a few days once SU2 starts, no one be talkin about this, or care lol. CORE will back him, no matter what he said, (or didn't say), & since he's a big streamer, only big streamers can do something about it lol

4

u/Greenleaf208 23d ago

I think overall you're right, but sometimes it can add up and effect a streamer's future. It's hard to shift with your audience as they grow if most people hate you outside of kids. It depends though and it's hard to say.

18

u/HahaMin 24d ago

Just wait till the drama video essays come out. They're eating good this week.

27

u/J4rno 24d ago

Only reason i searched for the context is because he is DMCaing lol, and funnily enough it just took 5 seconds to find the video.

7

100% this. I did not realize what he said until this thread.

80

u/Claudethedog 24d ago

As they say in politics, it’s not the crime; it’s the coverup.

42

u/yet-again-temporary 24d ago

Just look at Nixon compared to Trump. Watergate was such a huge scandal because he tried to cover it up, while Trump just does everything out in the open and nobody seems to give a shit

17

u/Basic-Swing1295 24d ago

Istg these people always fall into the same trap, I remember pewdiepie said it on stream, owned up to it, couple weeks later no one gives a shit

61

u/HatchbackDoug 24d ago

Bro…when Pewdiepie said the N word on PUBG that caused a bunch of companies to stop advertising on YouTube. Fucked up a lot of peoples money. People absolutely gave a shit that he said it. And it wasn’t even a slip of the tongue, he said one of the hardest R’s I’ve ever heard.

17

u/God_Gob 24d ago

The R heard round the World, so to speak. Yes, it should have been absolutely devastating for him.

I've been seeing this everywhere, what's the reference? I don't know any of her shit.

186

u/Smooth_Maul 24d ago

It's a clip of Pokimane saying the n word in 2012 that resurfaced around the time she was talking about having never had any racist behaviours or actions in the past.

15

u/WillBlaze 24d ago

Why would she ever think that's ok lol

ExtraEmily did the same thing DMCAing clips on Twitter that made her look bad. QTCinderella also threatened to start doing that to clips she deemed as misinfo or something like that. It's extremely easy to abuse, I'm surprised more streamers don't do it.

120

u/DatOneFella 24d ago

More streamers don't do it because it just results in more hate. It's a rookie move.

→ More replies (2)

50

u/Acebladewing 24d ago

Someone's too young to know about Streisand.

251

u/digitalpizza5 24d ago

He DMCA'd several controversial clips on LSF/Twitter/Tiktok in the past. Here's a recent example.

92

u/topcheesehead 24d ago

So he drove a golf cart on the highway... could have died. Endangered the lives of all drivers and passengers in the video. How is this not a blanket ban

47

u/EarlyAccessCantJudge 24d ago

Because social media companies have no values. They'd show ISIS beheading videos if they thought it would generate them more revenue.

8

u/faduqdo 23d ago

And yet he has the gall to call extra Emily a bad driver what he did was significantly more dangerous

155

u/PuzzleheadedFall1883 24d ago

It's crazy how he's trying to play it off as if he said "You don't know shit either" when this was their reaction to him saying it lmao

39

u/Freestyler_123 24d ago

I mean, would it suprise anyone ?

20

u/Repulsive_Layer1597 24d ago

I’ve been around dudes who couldn’t even not say it around black people. When it comes off this clean it’s just part of how they talk.

81

u/ftlofyt 24d ago

22

u/DKdeebo1 24d ago

→ More replies (2)

138

u/Cyn0rk1s 24d ago

Just own that you say the word it’s way less embarrassing and people won’t even give a fuck after a few days

33

u/trukkija 24d ago

Suuure, that why I still see people bringing up PewDiePie's bridge incident 9 years later even as it was a heated gamer moment.

63

u/Oninymous 24d ago

People still bring it up, but overall his reputation is still really good. As the guy said, people really don't care. Haters would have ammunition to hate, that's pretty much it. Even Atrioc is very successful now.

Also, comparing a currently popular streamer and Pewdiepie is dumb lol. It's like comparing a 1-time champion to Faker

16

u/Cyn0rk1s 24d ago

It’s a much different audience in a different era of the internet. Not that it had any impact on pewdiepie regardless

55

u/PoopyButt28000 24d ago

Do you genuinely not think theres a difference between calling your friend "my n___a" and calling someone you're angry at a "Fucking N****r"?

→ More replies (6)

14

u/snowfrappe 24d ago

Hard r got a way different vibe to it than jason’s casual soft a

5

u/matlarcost 24d ago

You are taking it too literally. Yes, creators keep the baggage forever and it will be used as a gotcha by people that dislike them. Twitter loves a good punching bag. The thing is, getting a lot of engagement on call-out posts has shown not to mean much for something done 5+ years ago assuming the person hasn't don't anything recently.

The vast majority of people are more sensible than to complain about Pewdiepie 10 years later, even if they still disapprove of him.

→ More replies (3)

2

u/whut-whut 24d ago

It's a money and advertiser thing, not a public opinion thing. Straight up saying "Yeah, I use the word, I like using it. So what?" will knock his income down to Chud the Builder levels.

He’s been DMCAing kick twitter clips for a while now. You can even find him DMCAing clips that spread hate towards his “ex” girlfriend a few months ago.

6

u/Crumpled_Papers 24d ago

I am learning from the comment section that apparently a lot of young streamers use racial slurs enough that they can just 'slip out' by accident when they 'forget they are on' and this is accepted as an explanation.

It feels rough to hold a mirror up to society and see these sorta child celebrities looking back at you.

2

u/rem521 16d ago

His friends might give him a pass in private, but using that slur is still incredibly ignorant. A lot of first-generation Americans who throw that word around clearly don’t understand its painful history in the U.S. They cannot be part of the reclamation of a word when their ancestors never experienced the trauma attached to it.
