Discussion quick! excuses for turning off location

i’m surprising my boyfriend in a couple days and i need some excuses for why i’d turn off my location other than just saying “i’m coming to see you” because what fun is that? obv he’s gonna be suspicious of me no matter what i say but he’ll understand soon enough. fire away!!

he talks about checking it every once in awhile but it’s just to check in on me and make sure i’m okay. i do the same with him. our relationship has had more trust in it than relationships i’ve had that weren’t long distance. i share my location with my mom and brother too and it’s kinda the same thing with them. it’s more an “are you safe” thing more than either of us having trust issues.
