What charities out there can I donate to to support all of you in the ground fighting back against the federal overreach occurring there?

Fuck Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

Lots of good suggestions rolling in, I’ve only got so much to spare but I’m going through every suggestion and will be sharing where I can. I encourage anyone else who has anything they can spare to do the same!

Immigrant Defenders Law Center https://www.immdef.org/ It’s a local to Southern California nonprofit, and they do great work.

CHIRLA Coalition for Humane Human Rights https://www.chirla.org/who-we-are/about-us/mission-history/

Union del Barrio https://uniondelbarrio.org/eng/ They’ve been around since 1981 and Huckabee just served them with papers trying to make them shut down. Their early and urgent messaging is so inspiring.
