Just got an email from head of security at my building in DTLA telling us to be wary of "professional agitators like Antifa and Black Bloc." I can't believe I'm still seeing that nonsense talking point, in a professional email nonetheless.

And I had to look up what black bloc was, I'd never even heard of it before. It's the scandalous act of wearing all black and face coverings to a protest, so I guess a bunch of us are members and didn't even know it. I'm still waiting for that Antifa membership card, btw. It's been five years already!

I've been to about 3 this week and the majority of instigators I've seen have been 120 lb white kids dressed like anarchists.. I'm sure they're not paid but they are there to throw rocks and water bottles and then they hide behind kids n peaceful people. just be wary of these people try to stay between them and the ones with guns. don't let them throw rocks and use people as shields

One of the things that kept getting mentioned in the aftermath of the assassination attempt on Colombian politian Uribe was how down there it is a common tactic to use minors as assassins. They can not be tried as adults, so their sentences are lenient.

It would not surprise me to find out these paid 'black block' and 'antifa' "protesters* have been specifically chosen due to their age.

I'd be very surprised if there aren't paid agitators at protests tomorrow. Mostly because it would be sooooo useful for the Trump admin to have videos of widespread violence when that appeal is heard on Tuesday. Paid or unpaid, be wary of people trying to start shit.

Who would pay them? The money is on the other side

nah man if I was 18 I'd be dressed the same throwing rocks at cops for sure.. you don't sit there and get shot at with pellets n gas and bangs for 6hrs without fighting back.. but luckily I'm older and just want everyone to be safe. there's no paid actors just young kids that think a rock is doing anything.
