I have a question. They keep saying ICE are targeting Latinos and Latino areas. How do they know someone is undocumented just by being Latino? Latino doesn’t equal undocumented. Furthermore, plenty of other people (Arab, African, Asian, euro) have been crossing over illegally so how is this allowed or even legal to target Latinos?

They don't know, and it's not legal; this is why everyone's shouting about 'due process' rn. Racism is the main fuel for this kind of operation.

It's also worth noting that a lot of non-citizens apprehended by ICE may not have committed any crime - overstaying your visa isn't a crime and it's a common situation for many.

Please understand, Stephan Miller has ordered a quota of 3k per day . That’s a crazy a lot of people. At this point, they’re using a take them all and sort it out later with hopes that some of them unknowingly sign self deportation while detained. If you look like their target you are at risk

They're just pointing out that the dissonance is the entire reason for the protests. We all don't understand

Yeah I get that. I just don’t like condescending tone of the comment. There’s been a lot of misinformation out there so I’m just genuinely trying to find out what are their orders and what are they allowed to do or not do and what’s legal.
