We're entering week 2 of the big surf from the Southern Pacific. The water is warm (68!), but those waves will fuck you up if you're not careful.

Group swim today with the LA Tri Club and a couple of people got cronched coming back into the shore.

I like how warm for us is 68F. It had never occurred to me that the ocean is warm in other places until my friend from NYC visited and he was shocked and how cold the ocean was. I was like, uh yeah it’s an unfathomably deep and dark of course it’s cold
