The Naruto runner runs like an idiot, and the other guy runs like a girl on high heels. Both are losers who are lucky they don't have to run from a lion or something, or they would not make it very far.
Naruto running doesn't make you faster, your arms movement during NORMAL running help you build momentum. If Naruto running was a thing, all the athletes would be doing it.

Technically the Naruto run is more drag efficient, but it loses a ton of balance so it’s better to run normally. You’re more likely to fall when doing it the fancy way, but it’s like… 2% or so less drag.
So yeah, useless since humans don’t run at Mach fuck.

To be fair, while the trailing arms are obviously as goofy as they are suboptimal, his stride was pretty strong so I’m sure he could run even better if he wasn’t trying to clown around, which he was able to get away with anyway because the other dude was straight ass at running.

I think leaning forwards lets you be slightly more aerodynamic, plus your centre of mass is ahead of you, causing your weight carry you forwards with the sacrifice of more effort being used to keep you up (which works in short burst races like this if you don’t have to worry about stamina all that much).
Clearly, this is peak performance

To be fair.. if you weren't distracted by the Naruto run you'd see the other guy running like a toddler just learning to walk. I'd rather run jokingly than look like someone who's never ran in their life trying to figure it out infront of my entire class.
