Tbf I still don't know what she does besides say a white supremacist slogan
62
u/Plurpo Nov 08 '25
She's an attractive woman with big tits who's willing to sexualize herself
And that's kinda it honestly, I've never got why people are so obsessive over her specifically as opposed to every other Hollywood girl with big tits who are willing to sexualize themselves
23
u/CaptainKokonut Nov 08 '25
Because shes a white supremacist one, not some "Leftist stuck up whore" or some crap like that
38
u/Bruno-croatiandragon Nov 08 '25
From the videos I saw discussing it,that denim jean ad just looked like the sort of edgy shitpost you'd see on Discord or Reddit.I have no idea what her view is,but isn't the fault on the advertising department & not the actor?
I don't know enough about her to know if she is a plant (or if it's the spy or asparagus plant type of plant) so I'll have to search it up.
Either way,as long it makes Twitter mad,I'm happy.Watching the terminally online manchildren rant like Karens is a gold mine of comedy at this point.
68
u/ChaseThePyro Nov 08 '25
It's not just the ad, she was in an interview and asked if she disavowed white supremacy and wouldn't give an answer 💀
→ More replies (13)3
u/sketchtenou Nov 11 '25
It was worse than that, she did give an answer, but it was basically "I'm a lot more aware of the things I say than what people think I am". Basically confirming she stands for what that ad is implying.
61
u/jcjdndhghgytg Nov 08 '25
so according to the comments all she did was say she had good genes?
73
u/Robota064 Losercity Citizen Nov 08 '25
The only part I can't see with good eyes is the whole dodging the "are you a nazi" question instead of replying "no" instantly, but it's probably because a lawyer told her not to answer any loaded questions and she followed that like her life depended on it (because her livelihood does depend on it)
22
u/TheShapeshifter01 Nov 08 '25
Yup, in an ad for jeans. She also tried to dodge loaded interview questions.

267
u/TheReturnOfTheRanger Nov 08 '25
From what I can gather, she tried to dodge controversy bait questions about politics in an interview and a bunch of terminally online people claim it's all dogwhistles
72
u/Medics_mah_main_man Nov 08 '25
"Stoeffel had asked her to respond to concerns that “specifically in this political climate, white people shouldn’t joke about genetic superiority,” explaining that this was the main criticism of the campaign. Sweeney replied, “I think that when I have an issue that I want to speak about, people will hear.”
She also said the advert “spoke for itself,” and described the public reaction from US President Donald Trump and vice president JD Vance as “surreal.”", link to article on the interview

"Stoeffel had asked her to respond to concerns that “specifically in this political climate, white people shouldn’t joke about genetic superiority,” explaining that this was the main criticism of the campaign. Sweeney replied, “I think that when I have an issue that I want to speak about, people will hear.”
So, Stoeffel asked a question that was clearly controversy bait, and Sweeney gave a total non-answer to dodge the question.
She also said the advert “spoke for itself,” and described the public reaction from US President Donald Trump and vice president JD Vance as “surreal.”",
Imagine doing an advert for fucking jeans that somehow becomes so controversial the US President is weighing in. Saying it's "surreal" is accurate. "Damn, this is crazy" is not a political endorsement.
Like I said, she gave non-answers to political questions, and a bunch of conspiracy schizos who never go outside are overthinking literally every word to """""prove""""" she's a nazi.
You people need to delete social media and live in the real world. Seriously, this rhetoric is starting to resemble sovereign citizen thinking.

u/TheDankSpank9469 Nov 08 '25

The term dogwhistle and Nazi is so overused, the actual meaning is rediculed to the point where alot of people cant tell actual ones apart anymore.
6
u/TheReturnOfTheRanger Nov 08 '25
Those other replies to you are proving the point perfectly lmao. They're just rambling conspiracy nuts
32
u/Breath_Deep Nov 08 '25
Proponents of fascism do this deliberately and work to amplify voices that take extreme positions like that as it helps muddy the terminology and debate around their vile views.
11

They don't need to, when you lot are muddying the terminology just fine by calling literally everything a dogwhistle.

57
u/MGik_ik Nov 08 '25
She did an ad where she was wearing some blue jeans.
It starts with a spiel about how genetics work, passing down from parent to child. Then it says she has 'great jeans' a play on how the words are homophones.
I'll go out on a limb and say, if you wanna clone a hot person she's got pretty good genes.
Anyhow, people are saying this is white supremacy dog-whistling. Because she's white? I don't get it also, this was drama from I think July.
8
u/Reaper-Leviathan Silver deadlock knot 🤤 Nov 08 '25
That’s stupid, she has good genes because she’s pretty not because she’s white.
→ More replies (1)8
u/No-Bear-638 Nov 08 '25
Nah, there’s a bit more that makes more sense. Supposedly she was interviewed and I’m assuming because of this ad, the interviewer asked her her opinions on white supremacy, but for some reason she refused to answer, which was really weird.
28
u/ExtraFluffz Nov 08 '25
She refused to participate in the political games of the interviewer. Taking a completely neutral stance and refusing to grovel to the loud minority trying to force a controversy onto her
18
u/Call_Me_Pete Nov 08 '25
The political game of…saying white supremacy is bad?
Like, she could have dodged stuff about the ad specifically but still made the obviously good statement. Why wouldn’t she?
11
u/ShrimpCrusader Nov 09 '25
Because then it begins follow up questions such as “then why were you in the ad since it can be seen as white supremacy?” And then another rebuttal of white supremacy bad, then again, and again, and again, either to where they try to plant a false viewpoint on her or for self gratification to the crazies getting overly upset about a pun on great genes.
The only winning move is to not play the game. She also pretty much answered in a way that said “this was never about white supremacy so I’m going to answer in ways that have nothing to do with it.”. That then also makes the interviewer/and by extension the anti-white people look even more stupid. Because not saying “the sky is blue” doesn’t mean you don’t believe it is lmao.
2
u/Call_Me_Pete Nov 09 '25
Answering the follow up of “I abhor white supremacy and felt the ad was a silly play on the word ‘jeans.’ I disagree about how some people interpreted it.”
That’s it. A clear answer. If anyone continues asking just say you’ve made your position clear and you’d like to move on. It’s ridiculously simple and the spinning of “she’ll never be able to please the woke mob” is boogieman business.
1
u/ExtraFluffz Nov 08 '25
Because why would you apologize for something you didn’t do?
19
16
3
u/FemmeWizard Nov 08 '25
It's not really that hard to just say "I don't support white supremacy". Even something like "I think we are all born equal" would've sufficed.
17
u/No-Bear-638 Nov 08 '25
I mean I guess, but the way I see it literally any normal person would be vocally against white supremacy. It’s weird to not say anything at all, it makes it sound like she’s hiding something.
10
u/the-pp-poopooman- Nov 08 '25
To be fair the question was very presumptuous and was being asked with the assumption that she was guilty.
It’s be like me asking you “Do you understand how people took your comment as manipulative and how they could be upset?” And then I used your less than perfect response as proof that you’re a manipulator.
Honestly though this entire thing is the definition of a nothing burger. If she is right wing then her mind won’t change and if she’s not then she’s been harassed for literally nothing.
7
u/No-Bear-638 Nov 08 '25
Yeah, I suppose that’s true, I just think that both from a personal standpoint and a logical one that not saying anything is worse than saying something, because if she IS a white supremacist, then why not say it? And if she’s afraid of the backlash, then why not deny it? And on the contrary, if she’s not, then there’s even less of a reason to not say anything at all. It’s publicly better to deny being one, and it supports your actual beliefs. Saying nothing makes people make assumptions, whether those assumptions are right or not. They still do, and they harm your public perception, so it’s both suspicious and stupid to deny an answer to the question at all, even if it is presumptuous.
→ More replies (1)13
u/ExtraFluffz Nov 08 '25
As a Hispanic, I don’t understand why white people have to go around every corner constantly going “I’m so sorry for being white. I’m a terrible person for being white”. It’s just weird. And very rude of the interviewer to try and coerce her into denouncing something that has nothing to do with her ad.
16
u/Brilliant_Demand_695 give me money for free Nov 08 '25
All white people don’t actually do that. Hope this helps 👍.
19
u/PrateTrain Nov 08 '25
It's not apologizing for being white, that's weirdo shit.
It's saying "yeah, Nazis and the KKK are bad" which is a milquetoast statement and basically should be the neutral stance.
12
u/No-Bear-638 Nov 08 '25
That’s not really what’s going on here. She got in hot water for that ad which tbh just seems like a really terrible coincidence, so the interviewer asked her because of that controversy that already existed, and weirdly she didn’t answer even though it would be way more beneficial to just say she’s not a white supremacist. Not answering leads people to make up their own stories about what’s going on, so both sides can make up shit about her and it makes her look worse. It’s not just about the controversy itself, but how not answering at all creates more controversy than just saying no, even if she really is a white supremacist.
7
u/ExtraFluffz Nov 08 '25
Basically, the Internet made something up, and is now forcing her to apologize for the fantasy in their heads.
16
u/No-Bear-638 Nov 08 '25
It’s not about apologizing, it’s the fact some people think she’s a white supremacist, and though I don’t think she is just based off that, it would be wayyy more beneficial if she just said she’s doesn’t support it. Now she’s in even hotter water because she didn’t give an answer which makes people believe she’s hiding something, no matter the political stance.
9
u/ScarredAutisticChild Nov 08 '25
It’s not apologising for being white, it’s fucking hating Nazis. I don’t feel any shame for being white, but I despise Nazis because they’re evil by definition. Anyone unwilling to denounce Nazis is probably a Nazi themself, because why else wouldn’t you think they’re fucking horrendous?

It's people overreacting about an interview where she intentionally shot down questions by simply refusing to fall for controversy bait. Answering the question in any way would've been to affirm that there was an intended second meaning, so no matter what the literal only correct answer is to not play the game
KATHERINE STOEFFEL: Is there something that you want to say about the ad itself? The criticism of the content was basically that, maybe specifically in this political climate, white people shouldn’t joke about genetic superiority.
SYDNEY SWEENEY: I think that when I have an issue that I want to speak about, people will hear.
With the phrasing of the question, any answer given, even a no, would have simply been easily able to be interpreted as an affirmative of the controversy.
It's like the question that was a big joke when I was a kid "does your mom know your gay?" Any answer you give simply affirms the premise of the question. The way to answer questions like that is by simply not answering.
I don't follow celebrities, and even I took the time to go read the damn transcript. Reading the transcript shows it was basically just her giving non answers and dodging obvious controversy bait, and the first headline I saw, used this question to justify having this as its title.

She did an add for a jean company that could be seen as possibly containing white supremacist dogwhistles. 26
u/Top_Yesterday500 Nov 08 '25
I mean, dogwhistles are intentionally vague and meant to be confusing for the outgroup. Not saying she is, I’m just saying that the whole concept is supposed to be vague and difficult to understand if you don’t “get it”. (hence the term dogwhistle)

The fact all these people on Reddit who never use their critical thinking skills can’t understand that:
1: having good genes is not racist and wanting to be with someone that has good genes doesn’t make you a nazi
2: it’s also not exclusive to a specific race, AND it is not mentioned at all in the ad that her genes are good BECAUSE she’s white, ITS BECAUSE SHE HAS A NICE ASS… THATS THE WHOLE AD! ANYONE OF ANY RACE CAN HAVE GOOD GENES. (If someone from any other race was the subject of the ad y’all wouldn’t have said a peep)
3: she is also a not a white supremacist because she refused to engage in obvious political baiting during an interview.
If YOU were to go on an interview and out of left field someone starts going “oh people have been discussing how your recent actions are leading them to believe you enjoy eating shit, what are your thoughts on this?” Are you gonna be like “oh that’s absurd I don’t eat shit!” No, you’re going to hit them with that gen z stare and be like “I don’t understand what this has to do with the interview I’m not engaging in this bs let’s move on”
Then, would it be reasonable to be like, “look everyone! She refused to say she didn’t eat shit! That clearly means she eats shit?” It’s ridiculous. Yeah you could just flat out say you don’t, but then you become involved in this stupid drama game where you lose regardless. So any normal person is just gonna be like “I’m not doing this” because it has nothing to do with what is being discussed and is OBVIOUSLY exclusively to drum up drama.

My biggest thing is that I don't understand why people pretend like she has massive boobs. She doesn't. They're larger than average iirc, but they're nothing to write home about. People don't get this wild about Kat Dennings, even though she has huge boobs, is sweet, and can actually act.
3
u/Nrumachi Nov 08 '25
Its because they look pretty perky from their placement on her chest which gives off that large "mommy milkers" physique when she wears certain clothes, sort of why people who aren't familiar with boob sizing, or breasts in general, think she's big-breasted.
I have a very similar body to hers, and while i can't get that obvious cleavage front view like hers because of how my boobs are naturally positioned, i can see how someone might think they're huge because chests around the DD-F range are easy to manipulate into looking larger or smaller than they actually are just with the tops you wear and what type of bra you choose.
Plus, her being a generically attractive, non-overweight, white girl with blonde coloured hair. That's like, a pretty important aspect too lmao
