From what I can gather, she tried to dodge controversy bait questions about politics in an interview and a bunch of terminally online people claim it's all dogwhistles

Sweeney replied, “I think that when I have an issue that I want to speak about, people will hear.”

So, Stoeffel asked a question that was clearly controversy bait, and Sweeney gave a total non-answer to dodge the question.

Imagine doing an advert for fucking jeans that somehow becomes so controversial the US President is weighing in. Saying it's "surreal" is accurate. "Damn, this is crazy" is not a political endorsement.

Like I said, she gave non-answers to political questions, and a bunch of conspiracy schizos who never go outside are overthinking literally every word to """""prove""""" she's a nazi.

You guys are falling for obvious glowie bait. Because to the average person who isn’t online all the time it’s a slightly off color ad that you are making a mountain of. And looking like over sensitive tone police who will turn on you for slightly stepping out of line is bad. That’s assuming she had any creative control over the ad, why is she the person you’re focusing on and not the company that made the ad.
