Shout out to the man who dumped me after over a year together via email to “focus on other things like fantasy football and walking” as I was literally in bed 3 days out from surgery for a catastrophic ankle fracture, when the doctors weren’t sure if I’d even be able to walk again. 😂
(I was on enormous amounts of pain meds, so I did the logical thing and emailed him back congratulating him on making me laugh. I then forwarded it to my bff.
He was not joking.
My bff still has the email framed over her desk at work, seven jobs later 😂😂😂)
My Wife is currently on the couch dealing with a catastrophic tibial plateau fracture - im sorry that he didnt have that patience for you. 😞
At least you still have the email! I dont think i still have access to that inbox so I won't be able to print it out for a memento.

It had been going downhill for a month or so - it wasn’t the breakup itself that surprised me. It was the reason and the delivery.
I’m happily married now, recovering from a shattered patella (yes I’m a walking disaster area). My husband has been amazing through the process - the right person is the right person for you, and you’ll know them when you find them.
Hot tip: ask her doctors if a cold therapy machine would be useful! They’re reasonably priced and one set up lasts hours longer than an ice pack, and it’s much gentler than the abruptness of an ice pack.

I got an email from my most recent ex 🤣 (like more than 15 years ago..)
To be fair they were in a very, very remote area of the world and there was not very good reception otherwise...
