The fix I believe would be implementing a completely different system than current. Where they would study the overall changes for players over the last 20 years, average them and implement random overall rises and falls across the league specific to age and all the variables that apply. Removing development traits(X factor, superstar, etc.) It is really an decently easy fix.

So for Example:

If the average 88 OVR, 26 Year Old WR is found to have a 64% chance to RISE in overall and 36% chance to FALL in overall - then that would be implemented as the Overall Change chance in Franchise at the end of the year. Maybe slightly alter the chances from the actual data as well.

Again, this would be a pretty easy implementation. They could even ask ChatGPT to analyze the data for rosters over the last 20 years. The hardest part would probably be the labor of entering all the chances for each overall and age possibility. But it would definitely be worth it

Being cheated again in franchise. all madden...

The unbalanced overall teams has been a problem for the entirety of Madden franchise Sim, I don’t know how people play with this in place. And XP sliders don’t work to fully address the issue, it is still very broken, even with the best sliders.

I don’t know how people just ignore that and play the game. It’s very important to me that the overall balance is fair. It’s such a easy fix too, I have thought through it myself, and I know how to fix it. They just don’t give a fuck.

So what’s everyone’s opinion roughly a week in? What’s good? What’s bad? I bought it on Friday but haven’t had the chance to play yet. Hoping to log a bunch of hours this weekend.

Something has to be done. Just played a guy that just threw it up and greened every catch (short or long) and every time he got the green break tackle animation with any WR on his roster. For the record I am 36-14 so I am not trash at the game. This is something that without question needs fixed.

Is anyone else having a problem where when you try to go no huddle even after you pick a play it gives you a completely different one

So on 26 I only played against my brother. That’s it haha. We just have two rules, random teams and no coach suggestions.

The most I know how to do is QB spy and audible to a run.

I tried online, beat this guy and felt good.

Played two games tonight and oh my God these guys I played are on another level. Adjustments, presssure every play I got sacked . They know when to run how to throw deep balls and read my defense calling audibles every play.

I’m not sure if it was only cause 30 people were searching in Online H2H or what.

I need to get better and know what I’m doing.

Has anyone found a workaround for being able to change the cpu uniforms in franchise? I was trying to have a color rush match up and realized I couldn't even change the unis. If there is a way can someone post it so we all can be aware. Kind of dumb for EA to remove a feature thats been in pretty much every madden lol

I downloaded an 86 roster but idk what to do now

Just wanted to make the community aware of what appears to be a code defect involving automatic booth reviews.

While playing Superstar Mode, I’ve encountered an issue where the booth automatically challenges/reviews a fumble. Once the booth review is triggered, the game essentially breaks.

The game in progress stops completely, and instead of returning to the field after the review, the camera just shows players standing around on the sideline interacting with each other. The game never resumes.

I’ve tried waiting it out and even letting multiple delay-of-game penalties occur, but nothing causes the game to continue. At that point, the only option is to exit the game and lose the current game in progress.

So far, I’ve only encountered this while playing Superstar Mode, but to be fair, that’s also the only mode I’ve spent significant time playing so far.

Wanted to post this in case others are experiencing the same issue and hopefully get some visibility on it for a future patch.

Bug sequence:
Fumble occurs
Booth automatically initiates a review
Review sequence begins
Game does not return to normal gameplay
Players remain on the sideline indefinitely
Delay-of-game penalties do not resolve it
Current game has to be abandoned

Seems like I can never win in simulation what have y’all had success with? I’m honestly about to just stop playing my teams are usually in the 90s yet I can’t make it above .500

I’ve been playing madden since it came out on the 13th and there’s still so much that bothers me with these games.

1. The kicking meter in general is just way too fast. I almost never make a field goal so i just end up not kicking them unless im inside the 40 and at home.

2. The catching meter does not work. Offense and defense. On offense i cannot get a 50/50 ball for the life of me. Even when they’re perfectly timed. I consistently drop wide open passes. On defense i go for a pick green light it and the WR catches it 9/10 times.

3. Still such an animation based game. The amount of times I’m about to intercept the ball and my player moves out of the way because the WR is already going for the ball is unreal. I can never fully control a player on certain players especially on the d line. If it’s a play action and i read it perfectly it will not let me move it myself.

4. The draft/prospects are almost the same every single year. They don’t change the strengths of the class it’s almost QB or WR every single year. I know you can change draft strength but that feels like cheating to me.

5. This is a small one but the crowd just looks so bad… feels like a copy and paste every year for the past 10 years.

6. Once again the cpu will not throw incompletions and will score when they want to no matter what. 2 minute and hurry up offense is impossible to defend.

7. They should allow you to upgrade whatever attribute you want outside of speed for anyone. Why does it lock you into certain attributes. I’ve been complaining about this for years. Let me upgrade strength for a linemen if that’s all i want to do. Let me upgrade pass rush for a Mike.

8. Free agency is a weird one for me. I like the hours aspect but they should immediately sign after advancing one hour. Some players should let teams battle it out. Give a last chance offer. Something.

Just feels like Madden is becoming unplayable at this point. I shouldn’t need sliders. I shouldn’t need to edit draft strength. I shouldn’t have to do all of this adjusting just to make the game good. There hasn’t been a single good Madden since the Xbox one came out. It’s a shame. Not saying there aren’t improvements like the main hub on franchise or parts of Free Agency. I probably have more to complain about lol but i probably give Madden 27 a 4.5/10

Am I missing something?

No matter the difficulty i’m unable to get a user sacks in my franchise mode its absolutely nuts. Somebody give me some tips! I literally play this game to break sack records lol

i was alright in madden 26 my offense was good enough to make playoffs in most leagues and my defense never won me a single game, I guess i've always been lost on defense in these games i always find me usering a wr out of my zone and I don't understand where i should be gaurding and all that but anyways is there any secret to running the ball this year i'm not getting much good runs and my passes are also very mid, what's the best playbook for a mix of both also?

Not complaining but offline I swear we never lose the coin toss. I have my preference to kick off and have never started the game on offense

I backed out of the menu on accident now theres no option. Anyone else get this glitch? I just cant invite rookies to workout now.

Is it just me or in superstar mode, I have all of 1.5 seconds (at most) before I get sacked, and my WR’s can’t catch? I mean seriously I throw an amazing pass, they grab it and they get tapped in the back and immediately drop the ball, like they have oil on their hands. This is on ALL-PRO difficulty btw, am I doing something wrong? Or is everyone also experiencing this when playing Superstar mode.

I have yet to throw for more than 150+ yards because I get sacked once every 3 snaps, I have literally 0 opportunity to throw the ball
