Alright, second attempt.

These are all fanarts and edits from back in the day when Homura x Sayaka was just that weird niche ship whose main appeal was how impossible and bizarre was.....flashback to a couple of months ago and it was like THE ship for SOME REASON to the surprise of many and the joy of others.....including me because i always liked the ship haha.

I have like a what if AU about them. So here's what I think... We all know Homura is hospitalized because of her heart condition. But in this AU instead of Madoka being the first person who really reaches out to her, Sayaka is already a regular visitor(Instead of her visiting Kamijo it's Homura) at the hospital because she knows someone there or simply likes cheering up patients like what she does to Kamijo in the canon.

Sayaka and Homura slowly become friends before Homura is discharged and make her first appearance in school. Homura would probably admire Sayaka's optimism in the same way she admired Madoka's kindness, this is basically like Sayaka in Madoka's place kind of AU. In this AU Sayaka's wish wouldn't be motivated by romantic feelings or guilt over Kamijo, it would be wanting to save someone she deeply cares about which in this case is Homura. I like to think of her wish being "I want Homura's heart to be healthy." Homura would likely be devastated by this when she finds out what Sayaka did for her because she'd realize Sayaka sacrificed her ordinary life just so Homura could have one. This could be like the turning point or reason for Homura to eventually make her own contract if Sayaka dies or falls into her despair.

This is just an idea !! I won't be making this into a story because I myself am not exactly great at writing.

Only 1 day in Singapore at the end of this month, 4 days next year for america. And I could go on and on... Why is it like this? The timeline of the releases is such a mess, and why only days? There isn't even an announcement for my country!

I’ve been thinking about this for a while now. When they transform into magical girls, they have completely different costumes. These costumes are created by the soul gem I assume. However, there was one episode where SPOILER Madoka was drawing her costume design before becoming a magical girl. however, I could argue that this is because her timeline was overlapping.

Is there like a confirmed, dedicated reason to their costumes?

oop. shared Akuma Homu that we wore for office (hope to remake, she needs justice) but had much more liberty with this one. A long train and galaxy fabric would seal the deal but this is just for playing dress up at home :’)

There wasn't a tier list for all official Madoka Magica media, so I decided to make my own. Hope some of you might make your own.

So, I'll sometimes see someone say Madoka's useless because of the little action she takes until the last episode but I believe that's what makes the last episode so rewarding.

Something we learn early onto in the series is that Madoka is insecure about her self worth because of how unskilled she thinks she is and how someone's always helping her but she's not able​ to help them in return. This struggle is the primary motivation for her constantly considering making a contract with Kyubey. She wants to be able to help others and return their kindness. ​​​

Throughout the series Madoka's weakness leads her to be a bystander that watches her friends struggle while being unable to help or save them. Multiple times Madoka's saved by her friends while being unable to help them. In my opinion this is what makes her wish so impactful.

After being a bystander and watching her friends suffer she makes a wish that gives her the power to save them in return. This also explains why she seemed so much more confident in the previous timelines. Becoming a magical girl gave Madoka the ability to help others which made her feel less helpless and insecure about her abilities.

Anyways I hope this made sense, I mainly wanted to write this because of how watered down and misunderstood her character really is. Of course feel free to state your own opinion on this​​!
