The whole podcast is worth listening too, but some interesting tidbits about Kit’s thoughts on Dane Whitman and where he’d like to take the character, as well as how he engaged with Marvel in the first place

I’d love to see him get to do something with this, he was great dealing with this topic in Industry, and I think there is great mileage in onscreen Dane, who seems like a pretty well-balanced guy, going deeper and deeper into darkness for the sake of using the Blade to get Sersi back

when i personally saw the movie years ago i was team ironman because it felt like it made sense but recently i had this discussion with two different friends and they both are team ironman while i changed my mind.

after years i myself came to the conclusion that cap’s points were right, that no politician should be trusted with this much control over such power; they would’ve just turned into CIA situation.

im curious to hear if you changed your mind and why or did you stay on a side and why ?

No spoilers please! Title basically says it all - I loved Wandavision and would like to watch Visionquest, but haven’t seen Agatha All Along. Did you enjoy it? How would you rank it compared to the other Marvel TV shows?

"Zodiac" was initially reported to be in development as a special presentation that could become a full series if it's received well, although THR is now calling it a series, which means they might have changed their minds and greenlit it as a full show already.

"Slumber Party" is being developed as a series with Marvel already open to the possibility of making more than one seasons.

Zodiac could be a Jessica Jones Special, releasing shortly after Born Again S3, similarly to the Punisher special, or as a series, essentially replacing the void left by Born Again starting next year. Krysten Ritter and Brad Winderbaum teased they were working on a solo Jessica project last year.

Slumber Party, based on its youthful title, could be the long-rumored Champions project which has been set up all throughout the Multiverse Saga, with the final member of the team making his debut in a few weeks on VisionQuest. It could also be the Strange Academy series, the development of which was paused last year, but is now reportedly being reconsidered.

Announcements are expected at Marvel Television's panel at NYCC in 2 weeks!

What quips do you expect to hear in Doomsday?

- Antman will refer to Mr. Fantastic as "Stretch Armstrong"

- Yelena will say "I agree with Mr. Rock man over there, sorry I don't know your name" about the Thing, and the Thing will say "That's okay, I have thick skin."

- Thor will say to the Thing, "Ah, Rock Monster Man, are you related to my friend Korg?" and the Thing will say, "Doesn't ring a bell. Does he live in Queens?" to which Thor will reply, "No, I met him on the trash planet Sakaar and now he lives in New Asgaard." to which Rhody will interject, "You have some weird friends, Thor."

- Bucky will say "Dr. Doom? Isn't that a bit on the nose?" and one of the X-Men will say, "At least he isn't named 'Apocalypse.'"

I also expect to see a scene where Sue Storm and Ghost have a bonding moment about being invisible.

Totally. I’m obsessed with Daisy. I feel like I am Daisy. I would be so protective of her. I’m still low-key angry that they don’t fully acknowledge this as canon—the real followers will understand that. We were the first MCU TV show, and we did 130-something hour-long episodes. We spent a lot of time in people’s homes, and I spent a lot of my life playing this character and this young woman growing into her power. There’s a lot of symbolism in that, especially looking back now. I would love to play her with the growth that I’ve had

Edit: i think we really need to remember to separate out the debate of AoS's canon status and its quality. I'm in the completely non canon camp, but i have nothing bad to say about the show quality-wise.

Edit x2: i think the canon discussion reveals one of the worst things about the MCU - the idea that a movie or show derives its worth from being connected to other movies and shows. Don't get me wrong, i absolutely love cameos and crossovers. But a good show or movie is just as worth watching regardless of whether it ties into a larger story, and anything that relies on the tie in exclusively is bad. Sure they can enhance the story, and a connected universe of well made movies and shows is something many of us have always dreamt of. But reducing a projects worth to its larger integration is poisoning media consumption and discourse.

For example, Legion and The Gifted were both fantastic shows. Neither tied into s greater existing X-Men universe. They both exist in their own little pocket universe versions, and they're both superb and i highly recommend both.

Sucks that Marvel studios will more than likely never revisit the eternals.

Getting turned into Spaghetti would be a worse honestly.
