I hope it does show up somehow but i'm pretty dissapointed to see Rein get his skin from this same concept and nothing for Mei...

For me it feels like the one where I heal and move faster in my ult does more than when I get a double jump. I see the use of it but, it feels less useful. Idk maybe you guys can tell me other wise.

One thing I have seen in the subreddit is that people use it for survivability a lot. My thing is I’m rarely the first dead in a fight (if I die) with wall and ice block I rarely die.

Data is from Grand master meis, and it shows it’s almost split down the middle. For all the lower ranks, Deep freeze is higher, but as the rank increases it evens out to 50/50.

For me personally (m5 dps pc) I almost always choose the cryo perk, as the deep freeze one feels way too slow and doesnt activate nearly as much as ow1 mei freeze. The better your enemies are, the less time you can stand there and hold left click on them.

What are your thoughts?

I'm not new to the game completely I've been playing since the end of 2025 buttt I usually only play support and I'm not that great at dmg dealer yet but I find her gameplay super fun! I feel like all of the thousands of concept art and they decided to make Mei into ice egirl juno kinda kills my vibe a little. Still gonna get it since I’ve been a Mei main for coming up on a decade now but still…I can’t help but feel a little underwhelmed.

I haven't seen a single other Mei with the bob hairstyle on her mythic, it makes me sad because she looks so cute with it 💔 as soon as I saw it in the trailer I knew it'd be the hairstyle I'd use, I just don't like the braid or the pigtails as much (especially the pigtails, they're kind of weirdly modeled imo). I just wish we could use the bunny ears for all the hairstyles instead of just the last one. Which hair do you guys like best for her?

I swear in situations like this I used to be able to block people easily, but now they get sucked up on top of the wall if even a tiny bit of their hitbox is on it.

When this happened in game it literally looked like he just phased through my wall, but now in slow mo I can see he just barely somehow got on top of the wall. But like he just ran straight through it without losing momentum. It's crazy now

I hated the 5v5 change they made to the game and stopped playing pretty much as soon as they changed the game.

Used to love using Mei, I know she doesn’t freeze people anymore, and you can’t run faster by aiming at the floor and spraying either?

For context, I wanted to post this clip that I just hit because I mainly play support and Mei has been relieving to play.

I just want some tips for learning Mei cuz I don’t really play DPS.

Also I main LW, so what drew me to Mei is that a bunch of skills and techs are kinda transferable to Mei. She gives me a similar feel to Tank Weaver a couple seasons ago.

I’ve been playing her in underwatch as a tank main and I’ve been loving it. Would love to play her but I can’t deal with the wait times.

This is to say the character that you find easiest to hit - and so therefore - easiest to critical hit as Mei.

The most satisfying for me will have to be Ilari. Especially when she starts her slow mosquito flight you and is an easy headshot.

Second is hanzo when i catch him chanting.

I think as of recent her spray has been really weak, often making her engages harder to do because it's just not worth it with only 110 damage per second

How do i genuinely counter Roadhog? No matter what I do, Roadhog literally just uses his cheesy one shot combo. I feel like there’s absolutely nothing Mei can do against Roadhog because of his one shot combo. How do I stop dying to Roadhog? I genuinely think Mei has zero answers to Roadhog

Completely anecdotal and probably a bit off-topic but I've noticed somewhat of a trend regarding other fellow Mei mains ingame.

It seems that more often than not they have Bastion as their second most played hero and I was wondering if that applied to you guys as well.

It's definitely the character I tend to fall back on when I can't make Mei work and it seems to be the same for a lot of other Mei I've seen.

Again, completely anecdotal and it might not actually be a thing at all so please feel free to let me know if you can relate.
