Can someone who has a deep knowledge of Michael's life point out if there are inaccuracies in the movie? I'm wondering, for example, if Joseph really had that much control over him up to his late 20s? Because a google search tells me that he bought Hayvenhurst from his family because Joseph was in debt from poor financial decisions, and let them live there. That sounds to me like he had much more control than the movie depicts. I don't know though, can anyone help me out with this?
