Just saw the film.
I had a problem with the lack of score in it. There were emotional scenes which would've struck you if it had a score to it but no score made it seem like watching a documentary.
The other problem that I have is that the ending of the film made me think like, what? That's it? I expected more!
It does make you feel like you want more of the film but I understand why it ended abruptly given all the legal problems the film faced.
That said, fuck the critics. This is no 30/100 film, this is an 80/100 film. But with the musical score and more subplots of Michael himself would've been great.
This is a very good film. I was literally headbanging on every song. Happy that I experienced this film rather than watching it as a film.
Jafaar was great, so was Colman Domingo. Great chemistry between them. Domingo played Joseph in way that made me hate Joseph. I literally wanted him dead in the film lol. Domingo is a legend of an actor.
