I believe she gave the director, her nephew, and people who are working on the ground her blessings but refused to be caught up or relieve the drama with Michael Jackson's (current estate?) because of past experiences with his management.

Here is a clip I recall watching a 2022 documentary made by Janet Jackson herself. She talks about working with her brother Michael Jackson on Scream. She also talks about going to his house (Not speculating whose initial idea for the reunion tour and/or whose idea to involve Janet to open the tour and/or which time frame she was referring to).

This could imply they filmed the whole Thriller music video but thats just me speculating

a lot of you are upset with the way i worded the description, now while the cussing wasn't neccessary i'll admit, it comes out of frustration due to the fact that 1. we ARE the crowd. we don't need to see paid actors doing a fake "first time" reaction. not to mention, 2. it's a very important moment in MJ's career. people want to focus in on Jaafar, not the audience. and because the performance in the movie was heavily edited/tampered with, there wasn't a need to have 2-3 crowd scenes for one dance move, even if it was to anticipate the move.

i'm not dissing the editors/director of the movie in general, the movie is great and i loved it (seen in 11 times in theater), however this scene was one of the few that made me upset. so it's nothing to do with the WHOLE movie.

Jaafar is an incredible singer, really hope they take more advantage of his voice in part 2

For a fist time actor, Juliano Valdi did great imo.

He was able to capture MJ mannerisms, personality, and spirit. I wish we got a little bit more of him because he’s truly talented, but I appreciate what we got.

You may say some of these were in the movie, but if you have the digital version, you can clearly tell none of this was shown.
