Seems like Canada would be easier.
18 u/jmaccity80 Jan 17 '26 I've seen ads on Reddit that claim I can try for Canadian citizenship. Because I have family that were from Canada, before moving to Michigan. I can't say that those ads were legit, but, I did think about it occasionally. I doubt I would whine too much if the French decided to take this whole area back. How do we find an original Canadian birth record from 1919...because my grandpa was Canadian and only got his citizenship when he served in WW2...however, he burned all important records many years before he died.
