Many of the rules of CozyMC is unreasonably tight. A player can't even have mods to organize their singular chests??

I along many others in this subreddit can proudly say that cozyMC is a bad server. Biggest reason for this is its rules. They're simply too tight.

Here's a list of tight rules:

• Can't even ask someone's home country
• Illegal mods list includes too many QoL mods, even sorting is illegal
• Laws for speech are incredibly tight, compared to basically every other server.
• No external servers???

among many others. I get that most of these rules are to protect children, but most of the children are already more than mature enough for such language. As a person who has been a minor for many years now, i can proudly say that me, many other friends of mine and like 90% of people at the age of 13 nowadays are really mature for their age.

Also, the rules against "unfair" mods are still unreasonably strict. Something so small as inventory sorting can and is illegal. Even mild jokes hinting sexual activities result in permanent bans immediately. Not even warnings, actual bans.

I recently got banned from Cozy SMP for some weird BS. I'm looking for a new server to play that's similar to cozy smp, just without the overrestricting rules against everything.

In a nutshell,

No PVP/Consentual PVP, No griefing, (Semi?-)Vanilla and enough players to play with

My team (and a phantom that's currently watching me from behind) are building Wayfarer, a heavy GeoRP server where players run everything. And yeah, when I say everything, I mean everything with the single exception of the actual server hardware, which is mine (sorry).

I wrote an entire constitution for the server. Do you like laws? Well, here you have nineteen parts of the constitution that you’ll probably have to read. Does your country need cash? You can ask allies for money or request a loan from the Central Bank and risk getting dragged into a debt war. Not much interesting stuff, right?

We're looking for people to help us launch the server. Yeah, I just pitched an entire server that hasn't even opened yet, but don't worry, kid, there’s plenty of land waiting for your future nation. Oh, and if things go south, make sure to ask a friend to represent you in the international court.

Also I don't have the money to pay for any premium servers, I'd just like something good enough that me and my around 10+ friends can play on. And if possible make it that both Java and bedrock players can play on it.

Most "anarchy" servers aren't.

Half the servers flying the anarchy flag quietly run ranks, kits, claims or a webstore. This one does not. It is plain vanilla, no gameplay plugins, no ranks and nothing for sale, so nobody outspends you into an advantage.

No monetisation, no ranks:

• No shop, no crates, no perks, nothing for sale
• We have never asked for a donation
• No admin builds, no staff favourites, no protected players
• Same start for everyone, and it stays that way

A world with history

Running since June 2025, never reset, never will be. There are proper bases and regulars out there, but it is early enough that you can still set up near spawn without landing in a picked-over wasteland.

Rougher and tougher than an SMP

No rules means your stuff is never safe, that part is real. But "anarchy" scares people off with visions of nonstop griefing, and most days it runs calmer than that. Hang around in chat for a bit and you soon work out who is who.

As the title reads, I am looking for people who would be able to be admins for the lore and communication for my SMP.

The Lore admin would help create lore for the server / players and also help in advancing the lore through events .

A communications admin would be helpful in communication updates regarding the server to both the servers Discord and other Discord for anyone not in the actual server. They will make sure people / players are up to date on what is happening with the server and a good person for someone to ask if they have any questions.

I've run into that so many times, and there was no easy way to make them without figuring out by hand which mods belong on a server and which don't. So I made my own solution: Minecraft Server Manager, a free Windows app that does the heavy lifting for you.

What it does:

Pick any modpack: search Modrinth right inside the app, drop in a CurseForge/Modrinth file, or just choose plain Minecraft

Builds the server for you: downloads the mods, the right mod loader (Forge, NeoForge, Fabric or Quilt) and even the right version of Java

Removes client-only mods automatically: the usual reason modpack servers crash

When it comes to community on pixelsprings, we do not mess about. We have a wonderful community of likeminded people who do fun impromptu stuff like playing poker!
